Our second dispatch is from when we were guests from Atosa, the eclectic multi-designer store run by fashionistas Aparna Badlani and Azmina Rahimtoola.
With the uber talented Manasi Scott, the duo hosted a preview of new collections by Malini Ramani, Namrata Joshipura, Nikhil Thampi and jewellery by Marsala.
Namrata Joshipura and Malini Ramani have been missed and were showing in the city after a while. Mumbai’s trendsetters buzzed around them, Nikhil Thampi and the newly launched Marsala. While Manasi Scott and Mandira Bedi played muse to Nikhil Thampi, other guests included Kunal Kohli, Neeta Lulla, Vidya Malwade, Sheeba Sabir, Sandhya Shetty, Sonali Kulkarni and many more.
Candid Photographer Parag Gopale of The Moment captured snapshots of the evening, an easy job, he quips, given the beautiful people in attendance. He also managed to sneak in pictures of the couture and Marsala’s jewellery line, Adira – Arabic for strong – inspired by the passion to seize opportunity, take risks, set the bar high and strive for excellence.
