Tanushri Dhoot from the Videocon family got married to Vivek Biyani (nephew of Kishore Biyani of Big Bazaar and Future Group) at a lavish ceremony at Turf Club, Mumbai. Shah Rukh Khan who performed at the sangeet a day earlier, came wearing a headband. Sonam Kapoor looked beautiful in a zardozi-embroidered outfit designed by Anuradha Vakil. A host of political, business, sports and bollywood biggies attended the power wedding. Gopinath Munde, Subash Chandra, Yash Chopra, Mohammed Azharuddin, Dilip and Manali Vengsarkar, Poonam Dhillon and her sister Dr Rishma Pai, Yukta Mookhey and her husband Prince Tuli.

Business tycoons and India’s super-rich were busy with Radhika Singal’s and Saurabh Dhoot’s wedding functions in Delhi and Mumbai. For the different functions, Radhika Singhal wore stunning creations by Ankur Batra, Tarun Tahiliani and Abu-Sandeep. But the one creation everyone loved was the extraordinary pink lehenga choli designed by Tahiliani. Says one of the guests: “The outfit I liked most was the Tahiliani pink lehenga choli with pink threadwork; and Ojas did a brilliant job with her makeup and hairstyling.”

Two business magnate families are hosting weddings around Valentine’s Day. The Hiranandani family wedding on 14th/15th February is at the Trident Hotel, Udaipur. Neha Hiranandani weds Mumbai boy Varun Jalan and Mumbai’s who-who are expected to attend the gala wedding there.
Saurabh Dhoot, son of Pradeep Dhoot of Videocon Industries is marrying Radhika, daughter of Sanjay Singal of Bhushan Steel. The pre-wedding functions are on 2nd and 3rd February in Delhi at the Singal residence in Amrita Shergil Marg and the bride’s talented mother Arti Singal is over-seeing all the arrangements. The wedding functions are on 14th/15th February at the Trident Hotel, Mumbai. Since Saurabh and Radhika’s engagement ceremony in October was a mega affair, we expect the wedding function to be fatter than the big fat Indian wedding
