They're going to be
on display through your wedding ceremony, what with mehndi and you better
make sure they're in great shape. Your feet are an erogenous zone, and
what better time to pamper them than now when you have the chance.
- Make
sure your feet are well moisturised. Powder your feet whenever they
are exposed to long periods of being in closed shoes.
- For cracked
heels use a foot cream at night and sleep with cotton socks on through
the night to give the cream time to work on the skin.
- Do visit
a pedicurist or a chiropodist if you have any of the following: corns,
in grown toenails, athletes foot, warts or calluses.
- Give your
feet a regular once-a- week pedicure leading upto the big day. Here's
an easy way to do a pedicure at home..
Squeeze
some soap gel into a tub filled with warm water and soak your feet for
5 to 10 minutes. Put marbles or rounded pebbles in the tub and roll your
feet over them. Next, use a pumice stone to gently remove dead skin. If
you have blisters you could use a foot scrub. Soak for some more time,
then remove feet from the water and towel dry. Massage a thick layer of
moisturising cream all over your feet, right upto the ankle. Use an orange
stick to clean nails and buff them. Trim nails straight across and file
around corners to avoid ingrowths. Remove nail polish with a remover and
apply a fresh coat of nail polish.
