Three top Indian designers were roped in to do the trousseau for Vanisha Mittal’s high-profile wedding in Paris. A pale yellow lehenga for the `doli` night came from the king of drapes, Tarun Tahiliani. Embroidery king Suneet Varma designed the outfits for the Sangeet, the Bollywood nite and Mehndi. Mumbai-based duo Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla designed the outfits for other functions. The brief the three designers got was simple: Make it glamorous! And they did just that while working on the elaborate creations for three months.”The colours I worked with for the Mittal family ranged from blue and red to pink. We did several fabric developments to give it the special and exquisite touch,” says Suneet Varma.
