Real Brides, Real Style

Designer Sabina Singh married restaurateur AD Singh at a fun wedding in Goa. Sabina’s designer label ‘horn ok please’ is a fun label, catering to markets in India and abroad. The inspirations come from the streets of India, be it color, sound, smell, autorickshaws or dhobiwallas.

Here the gorgeous airhostess turned designer talks about how she went about planning her wedding day.

How I put together the Look for my wedding
My wedding day look was in natural colours in fusion style, keeping in mind the environs of the venue. My outfit was designed by Zeenat Sayani’s Private Collection store in Mahalaxmi. It was a mermaid shaped outfit in dull gold, beige and white. The outfit had a short top fully embellished with diamante, with a sweetheart neck scalloped on the corners along with a long mermaid skirt, which was sheer and transparent.

My Makeup and Hair
Kanta Motwani (of Kaaya and Kromakay studio) did my make-up and hair. The make-up was very light and natural and my hair was styled with diamantes stuck (with wire pins) on the top to give a look of diamonds sparkling on the hair.
