The Riya and Vikas match was arranged—the two were introduced by their parents—but it was certainly heaven-approved. Riya says, “What started as a formal meeting gradually turned into a beautiful journey as we got to know each other better. It felt effortless.” Their wedding, planned by WeddingSutra Favorite – Wishing Well Weddings and Events, was as seamless as their match.
Wedding Planning
Riya had always wanted a beach wedding. Radisson Blu Temple Bay at Mahabalipuram offered her the perfect blend of stunning beach views and spacious, well-designed banquets—an ideal setting for their celebrations.

Wedding Functions
Welcome Dinner
The celebrations started with a welcome dinner that was designed around the enchanting “Starry Night” concept, set beside an outdoor pool. The ambiance was magical, with dreamy lighting and a relaxed vibe, making it the perfect start to the celebrations.
Mehendi and Haldi
The Mehendi and Haldi ceremonies embraced a vibrant “Flower Shower” theme, with colorful hangings, fresh blooms, and a beautifully styled backdrop. Hosted in a lush garden, the setting was lively, cheerful, and full of festive energy.
Sangeet
For the Sangeet, the décor turned glamorous with a setup featuring a grand LED backdrop and a striking black and red palette. The stage was designed to set the tone for power-packed dance performances and endless entertainment for our guests.
Wedding
The wedding mandap was beautifully crafted, overlooking the serene beach. With the soothing sound of the waves and our loved ones seated around the couple, the setting was truly magical and intimate.
Reception
The reception followed a dreamy blue-and-white theme with an elegant and sophisticated décor. The highlight was the stunning backdrop, which perfectly complemented the serene vibe and marked the perfect conclusion to the celebrations.
