The couple headed to the City of Lakes for the royal destination wedding of their dreams, hosting their functions across many iconic venues in Udaipur. While they embraced the intimate elegance of Taj Fateh Prakash Palace for the Arabic Souk function, Jagmandir Island Palace’s grandeur set the stage for their magical Sangeet. They tied the knot amidst the iconic opulence of Taj Lake Palace which combined royalty and serenity to present a perfect setting for such an auspicious occasion.
Wedding Planning
The couple envisioned vibrant themed decor and celebrations for every function and entrusted the team of Evolve Weddings to orchestrate each detail. Talking about what went into the planning process, they share, “The couple was incredibly enthusiastic about their vision of a themed destination wedding, and then ensued endless days of detailed planning into crafting the celebration that they had envisaged. We at Evolve made the most of the opportunity and let our creativity run free, conceptualizing distinct ideas and aesthetics for each of the functions”.
Wedding Functions
Arabic Souk
The vibrant hues and aroma of Arabic Souks kicked off the festivities on a lively note. Colorful ethnic rugs, drapes, lanterns, Middle-eastern furniture and brass paraphernalia conjured a pretty lounge seating at this stunning lakefront venue, beautifully contrasting against the pristine white architecture of Taj Fateh Prakash Palace. Trinkets, exotic spices, fruits and more, added to the alluring vibe of the occasion.
Mid Night Soirée
The iconic heritage venue of Jagmandir Island Palace was lit up with dazzling lights and decor for the Sangeet function. Hosted under the moonlit sky, the stunning occasion saw dreamy garden alleys and intricate sparkling arrangements of fairy lights and lanterns that decked the lush greenery everywhere, transporting the guests to another realm. The sheen of crystal chandeliers, candle votives, disco balls and more, added to the sheer magic of the evening
Wedding
Hosted at the ethereal Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur, the Wedding was designed with a timeless palette of white and pink to celebrate the quintessential aesthetic and royalty of the landmark palace. A huge lotus backdrop made from flowers was created for the Varmala, while floral swans floated gracefully in the pond. Sumptuous floral arrangements, enormous peacock installations, blooming canopies, vases, candle votives and more, added to the heavenly atmosphere.
