A Jaipur pre wedding photoshoot that juggled myriad moods of love from poetic noirs to traditional grandeur
Pre Wedding Photoshoots - Dec 17, 2021
New York-based Doctor Aditya and LA-based Tech Professional Snigdha firmly believe that destiny brought them together when they came face to face with each other at Niagara Falls. From their first date to a nostalgic proposal, their journey was nothing short of a dream, and they froze the nuances of their love in a stunning pre wedding photoshoot in Jaipur, shot by WeddingSutra Favorite – Oragraphy.
Snigdha shares, “We always knew that we wanted a pre wedding shoot and we loved the idea of palaces, and nothing defines pure royalty like the Pink City! When the team of Oragraphy suggested we shoot in Jaipur, we instantly agreed unanimously! I had a vision of ‘Modern Royalty’ and was very particular about including a contemporary Maharaja and Maharani style session. The team was incredibly helpful and planned the entire itinerary including our outfits. Needless to say, we were super thrilled with the results!
The pandemic unfortunately pushed us to reschedule our wedding. The prewedding photoshoot was a kickoff to the originally planned celebration which started on a high note for both the couple and their enthusiastic photography team who were excited to execute all the planned ideas. Snigdha shares, “Since we were both traveling from the US, we had about 2 days to shop for our outfits upon landing in India right before traveling to Jaipur. For our modern royalty shoot, we weren’t able to purchase a safa ahead of time. Yogi went above and beyond to find us a safa guy that came down at 6 am for our shoot. We needed to hire a separate hairstylist that came down at 4 am to get the look right for me. We are truly grateful to the amazing team for paying attention to even the smallest of details to ensure perfection”.
The nuances of their relationship were captured across a variety of backdrops in the city, each one being enhanced and explored with different ensembles and moods varying from breezy pastels, poetic noir shots, traditional nostalgia and royal grandeur.
Reminiscing about her favorite moments from the shoot, she continues, “The best part about the shoot was living the life of royalty albeit for just a day. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime occasion, and we enjoyed every minute of it. We loved running around from one location to another to find the perfect shot, waking up early, sleeping late, the hustle and bustle of Jaipur city and most importantly, getting to know our photographers a little bit before the wedding.”
The couple finally tied the knot in Hyderabad after postponing the wedding plans twice on November 10th, 2021. Moments of their special day were also captured by the team of Oragraphy.
