Reflecting on the experience, Purva Patel, Founder of Pristine Paige Events shares “The brief was simple yet deeply aspirational—the family wanted a regal, heritage-inspired celebration that was elegant, immersive, and timeless. Each event needed to exude grandeur while maintaining an intimate and personalized essence. They envisioned a setting that was not just visually stunning but also emotionally resonant, where every detail felt thoughtfully woven into the larger story of the celebration. Understanding the depth of this vision, Team Pristine Paige Events approached the event as more than just a décor project – it became a carefully curated journey of experiences, emotions, and impeccable craftsmanship. From conceptualization to execution, our team ensured that every space, every transition, and every moment felt seamless yet awe-inspiring.”
A Tranquil Beginning
The festivities commenced with a serene welcome lunch by the poolside, envisioned as a refreshing prelude to the grandeur that would follow. Inspired by the delicate hues of a spring morning in Rajasthan, soft pastels, cascading floral arrangements, and elegant canopy drapings came together to create an atmosphere of understated luxury.
The tablescapes, meticulously curated by Pristine Paige Events, featured an artful play of textures with vintage porcelain, handcrafted table runners, and floral centerpieces that blended tradition with modernity. Amidst this serene setting, Girish Chavla’s soulful melodies provided a harmonious backdrop, allowing guests to ease into the celebratory spirit.
A Nostalgic Reverie
As the afternoon unfolded, guests were invited to an Antakshari session over high tea, a celebration tinged with nostalgia designed to evoke warmth, laughter, and shared memories. The ballroom was transformed into a regal yet intimate retreat where royal blue accents, soft candlelight, and vintage floral backdrops set the stage for a heartfelt evening of music.
“One of the most thoughtful details we added was the placement of handwritten lyric scrolls on each table, allowing guests to reminisce about timeless melodies before engaging in the spirited musical exchange. The challenge? Ensuring that the space, despite its opulence, felt deeply personal and inviting” shares Purva Patel. With strategically placed lounges and layered lighting, the evening saw an effortless blend of emotions and elegance.
An Evening of Mystique & Melody
As twilight descended, the ballroom was transformed into an ethereal Mughal court, where rich maroon, antique gold, and classic ivory tones created an immersive experience filled with mystery and grandeur. A grand stage framed with ornate floral arches became the focal point, ensuring that the performances by Arman Thakur and Sagar Bhatia unfolded against a setting as mesmerizing as the music itself. Plush velvet lounges, intricately embroidered cushions, and cascading floral installations lent a dreamlike quality to the space.
Purva adds, “An unexpected last-minute challenge arose when a particular rare floral variety requested for the stage backdrop wasn’t available. Anticipating possible logistical hurdles, we had already sourced an alternative that blended seamlessly with the aesthetic, ensuring that the grand floral vision remained intact without any compromise. Guests marveled at the richness of the setting, never realizing the intricacies that went into the seamless execution.”
A Cultural Homage
Steeped in Rajasthani heritage, the following afternoon’s Sajjan Goth-style sit-down lunch was designed to transport guests to an era of royal feasting. Pristine Paige Events worked closely with artisans to incorporate ‘thikri’-adorned arches, handcrafted wooden furniture, and intricately carved candlelit centerpieces, ensuring that the dining experience felt authentic yet indulgent. The challenge was in striking the perfect balance between traditional aesthetics and guest comfort, a feat that was achieved through carefully selected seating layouts and ambient lighting. As guests indulged in a lavish spread of regional delicacies, the Atrangi Project’s soulful folk performance enriched the atmosphere, seamlessly intertwining culture and celebration.
An Enchanting Finale
Purva shares, “The grand finale at the Frangipani Lawn was conceived as a night where heritage met modernity seamlessly. The vision was to create a setting so breathtaking that it felt almost surreal.” Guests arrived through an illuminated floral archway leading into a starlit alfresco banquet that blended contemporary sophistication with timeless grandeur. One of the most striking design elements was the ceiling installation—a breathtaking Rajnigandha chandelier that bathed the dining space in a soft, romantic glow.
A meticulously designed stage, inspired by the grandeur of old-world durbars, featured layers of intricate floral artistry, ensuring that the evening’s performances by B Praak, Gurdeep Mehendi, and Bollywood star Vaani Kapoor were set against a backdrop worthy of a regal celebration. As the night unfolded, fireworks illuminated the sky, marking the culmination of a celebration that wasn’t just an event—it was a moment suspended in time, a legacy in the making.
