A multi-sensory experience that raised the grandeur bar high with its futuristic approach – this Delhi-based reception made jaws drop!

An intersection where creativity and cutting-edge technology fused together to create an event that looked like it belonged to the future, Le Mariage knocked it out of the park as they designed this reception in Delhi for a guest list of more than a thousand people.
Spanning 122,000 sq ft this reception event venue transported the guests to a new world brimming with artistic flair. Aptly named ‘Land Art’ this event was an ode towards an architecture that respects the past but also looks eagerly towards the future. One of the first elements to inspire awe was the entryway that gave the guests a glimpse of what lay ahead. Mohamad Gayad from Le Mariage shares, “Creating the iconic yet dramatic main stage was an extensive and challenging process. Designed and produced by multiple curved physical and digital structures it took up most of the background space by going 8 floors up which is equivalent to 26 meters. Our aim was to meld a futuristic approach with urbanism and the volume of the outline façades and their dynamic synergy fit the vision perfectly. The integration of lighting fixtures was also key as it would add to the grandeur of the ambience. Plus, its smooth motions would create a lightscape scene that conveyed an inviting, theatrical, and dynamic vibe. Synchronization of all the elements was absolutely crucial here. Right from the lights, and the sound effects to the visuals – everything had to mirror each other to make the viewers feel like they’ve stepped into the future.
As a result, we orchestrated a reception event that broke the mold of conventions. We eschewed the traditional elements and took a firm step towards a progressive design story that made the event a never-seen-before phenomenon.”
And just like the design, no stone was left unturned for the entertainment either as some of the biggest names in Bollywood set the stage on fire! Bollywood superstars Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Farhan Akhtar and Ayushmann Khurrana performed on stage which, in turn, left the crowd in a frenzy. Meanwhile, anchor Manish Paul ensured everyone had a good time with his witty remarks that set an instant rapport with the audience. Additionally singer Stebin Ben serenaded the guests leaving them mesmerized. Flaunting the world’s biggest screen installation that spanned 19913 sq ft, this event pushed the boundaries of innovation and embraced a progressive approach to orchestrate an unparalleled celebration of love!
