Nestled along the tranquil banks of the Vaitarna River, just a few hours from Mumbai, Anchaviyo by Zuper served as the dream canvas for a Swiss bride’s heartfelt Indian wedding. “While zooming in on Google Maps, we stumbled upon Anchaviyo by Zuper — and it was love at first sight,” she recalls. What followed was a vibrant and emotion-filled destination wedding, where every moment was thoughtfully curated against the breathtaking backdrop of nature.
Anchaviyo by Zuper isn’t just a wedding venue—it’s a charming escape into nature’s lap. The couple was drawn not only to its lush landscapes and riverside views but also to the rare opportunity to book the entire resort (with its 120 thoughtfully appointed rooms) exclusively, ensuring an intimate celebration with their closest loved ones. Each nook of the property, from its treehouse-style cottages to its elegant event spaces, added a layer of charm to their wedding experience.
The festivities kicked off with a bashing pool party, setting the stage for a fun-filled Haldi ceremony that brought vibrant energy and laughter all around. The décor embraced a rustic-meets-modern aesthetic, with yellow blooms, cane furniture, and brass elements lending a traditional Indian charm. Sara’s joy shone as brightly as her marigold-hued saree, capturing the very spirit of the celebration.
Come nightfall, the venue transformed into a glowing stage for a spirited Sangeet night. Under a canopy of twinkling fairy lights and backed by a live band, the couple shared a romantic first dance, surrounded by their cheering guests. Fireworks lit up the sky, echoing the sheer joy of the moment.
