A ‘Soft’ Farm Wedding with High-Vibe Festivities and a Competitive Carnival
Wedding Planning - Mar 27, 2026
When Krisha Mehta, a graphic designer, tied the knot with Nikhil Dugad, who is in the automobile business, they wanted a celebration that was soft, yet full of energy and fun! Bringing this vision to life was WeddingSutra Favorite – WingsCraft Entertainment. Oleander Farms in the midst of the natural beauty of Karjat, offered a slow, serene experience that allowed the celebrations to be joyful and intimate.
Wedding Planning
Deep Thakkar & Tanvi Thakkar of WingsCraft Entertainment say that each function was designed to meet the couple’s vision of a soft, yet energetic celebration. “The Carnival was an immediate ice-breaker with its stock market theme and all the fun games that followed. The sangeet got everyone on their feet and dancing. For the wedding, we focused on the sacredness of the rituals and allowed space for emotions to be felt and the family and friends to come together to bless this couple.”
Wedding Functions
Carnival and Haldi
The first function was the Carnival followed by Haldi, which enjoyed a stock market theme, along with casino table games, followed by an auction of gifts for those who earned the most at the stock market—something everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Krisha, who is a graphic designer, designed the currency notes which had faces of her and Nikhil’s fathers on either side and that made it so much more fun!
The Haldi had sunflower backdrop and the dress code, for the couple as well as the guests, was orange, pink and yellow. Everyone stuck to it, making it a bright day!
Sangeet
The sangeet had a celestial night theme. A beautiful stage and a planned entry for the couple set the tone for a high-energy evening. With the family performance followed by impromptu dancing, this was one memorable evening!
Wedding
The wedding atmosphere felt surreal, beautiful and magical. A pastel theme complemented the venue. The groom arrived on a ghodi accompanied by a joyous baraat. The bride entered the venue under a canopy of hanging lights, their soft light adding to her glow. It was a moment that not only the couple but also their family and friends will remember forever!
