A sparkling celebration of love by Design HQ at the magnificent Six Senses Fort Barwara

Jaya and Sameer revisited the splendor and magic of their big day with a stunning silver jubilee anniversary celebration by WeddingSutra Favorite – Design HQ. Held at the recently restored Six Senses Fort Barwara which also played host to Vicky and Katrina’s celebrity wedding, the spectacularly designed vow renewal revelries are sure to inspire you to plan your own!
Planning
Design HQ Founder Kinjal Adodra gave us some wonderful insight into the planning and execution of the affair. “Not only were Jaya and Sameer ringing in their Anniversary celebration but also honoring Jaya’s 50th birthday, which made the occasion all the more special. They wanted to recreate the joy and grandeur of their wedding day surrounded by their friends and family, who all flew into Jaipur from Mumbai. We worked closely with Kkings Events, their planning agency to craft an experience that would be unforgettable for our couple and their guests”.
Guest Welcome
The guests arrived to a warm welcome at Anaar Baug, a beautiful arena that was decked with blooming arrangements of flowers and pomegranates to match the name. The space was spruced up with traditional decor elements sourced from Dastkar Ranthambore, a local NGO initiative that aims to revive the arts and crafts of local communities.
Sufiyana Samaa
The evening continued with a soulful Sufi Night at the Bawdi of Zenana Lawns, where the couple and their guests relished heart-warming food around the bonfire under the starry night. The soiree was replete with lip-smacking kebabs and a themed dinner menu for a relaxed night of fun and enjoyment.
Pool Party
Design HQ brought some Hawaiian fun to the royal setting of the fort. The vibrant decor of bright hues and eclectic elements lit up the muted palette of the backdrop and infused energy into the pool-side revelries. Bright florals, fun prints, boho cane furniture and fabric tassels all came together to create a lively ambience. Large-than-life cacti added an interesting touch to the occasion, while tiger-printed upholstery acknowledged the history of Ranthambore.
Vow Renewal
The Vow renewal was a whimsical celebration of love at the iconic courtyard of Fort Barwara. The couple descended the staircase decorated with dreamy floral arrangements amidst an ethereal show of fireworks. Standing in front of a gigantic scroll that hung down the side of the fort and carried their vows, they renewed their promise of commitment and togetherness in front of their loved ones, followed by a divine ceremony of Ganga Aarti.
Bollywood Night
The festivities came to a spectacular close with a night of delectable dining and entertainment. Decked out in cocktail couture, everyone enjoyed the formal dinner laid out at the Bollywood Night. The classic decor in black and white saw a gothic vintage twist with metallic candelabras, floral arrangements using feathers and embellishments, name tags with calligraphy and more. The guests grooved and cheered as they enjoyed the live performances and the couple’s beautiful dance.
