A stunning mix of tradition and sustainability, this couple’s pre-wedding celebrations were lively, colorful and heartwarming!
Wedding Planning - Mar 13, 2026
Stuti and Dhrumil’s wedding celebrations reflected a thoughtful balance of tradition, community and personal values. Capturing the festivities with quiet precision was WeddingSutra Favorite – Zoomin Captured, whose intuitive approach ensured that both the defining moments and the subtle emotions of the celebrations were documented with care.

At the centre of the celebrations was a love story that began years earlier. High school sweethearts who began dating in 2018, Stuti and Dhrumil have grown together through friendship and shared milestones. Their journey included two memorable proposals. Dhrumil first proposed in Jordan under a sky full of stars, creating an intimate moment that remains special to them. Later, in Goa, Stuti asked Dhrumil out in return at the very place where he had first confessed his love to her. Their relationship was formally celebrated with a traditional Goldhana ceremony in November 2024, bringing their families together and setting the tone for the wedding that followed.
Pre Wedding Function
Welcome
Guests were greeted with sustainable seed malas inscribed with meaningful words along with a traditional tikka. The gesture served as both a warm introduction to the festivities and a reminder of the couple’s belief in giving back to nature. To add an experiential element to the evening, Stuti and Dhrumil hosted a mentalist show that kept guests engaged and intrigued. The performance created moments of surprise and laughter, helping everyone ease into the celebrations while bringing friends and families together.

Garba and After Party
The celebrations began in earnest with a grand Raas Garba that brought together more than 700 guests for an evening centred on devotion and togetherness. The night opened with a sacred aarti where every guest held a diya, collectively lighting up the space and creating a powerful and serene atmosphere. The décor echoed the couple’s philosophy of conscious living. Khadi fabric hangings featuring Sanskrit shlokas framed the venue and added a quiet sense of depth to the setting. Instead of a traditional sangeet format, the evening unfolded through speeches and dance performances that celebrated the couple’s journey and the relationships that shaped it.
Music played an important role in the celebrations, with a 14-member live band led by Piyush Rajani performing throughout the evening. The performances built towards a five-minute choreographed Raas Garba finale that brought the night to an emotional close. Guests were then invited to watch a special screening that offered a glimpse into Stuti and Dhrumil’s story and the journey leading up to the wedding. The mood soon shifted into a lively Bollywood after-party where friends and family celebrated late into the night.

Sustainability remained a thoughtful thread throughout the evening. Guests received seed balls as gifts, each containing five seeds, including Tulsi, Gunja, Sunflower, Bel and Cucumber. The seeds symbolised the five forms of Raas in Krishna’s Raas Leela and served as a meaningful reminder of the celebration.
Reflecting on their experience with the photography team, the couple shared, “Our experience with Zoomin Captured was excellent. They instinctively knew when to capture both the big moments and the subtle, in-between ones. Their attention to detail and precision stood out, and despite a tight timeline, they delivered the edits within a day. The entire celebration was covered seamlessly and thoughtfully.”

Sharing advice for couples planning their own weddings, Stuti and Dhrumil said, “One piece of advice we would give to couples is to stay true to their beliefs. We respected culture and tradition while prioritising hospitality, which we believe is vital to a successful Indian wedding. Our celebration was a blend of cultural values with personal intention, and that authenticity is what made it truly special. Another piece of advice would be to ensure that every aspect of the celebration, from the smallest details to the grandest elements, reflects who you are as a couple. When the event is intentional and personal, it naturally becomes more meaningful, especially for the two people at the heart of it.”
