Celebrating 20 beautiful years of togetherness, the Doha-based couple commemorated their landmark moment with a striking prewedding shoot against the vibrant cityscape of the city, followed by a wedding full of pomp and splendor.
Gaurav, who works as a Director of Cybersecurity for an MNC in Doha, and Vibha, a former employee of JP Morgan, had known each other for a long time before they started dating. It was during their college days in 2001 when they met in Pune and felt a spark. Over sunsets and conversations, their friendship slowly evolved into undying love, and the rest was history. For their vicennial wedding anniversary, they decided to re-ignite the magic and celebrate their love in a way that expressed their vivacious personalities and gave their friends and family memories they would never forget!
The memorable affair began with a colorful shoot across the modern cityscape of Doha, for which the couple flew in the Delhi-based team of RPS Films to capture their moments. A unique blend of futuristic luxury and Middle-Eastern heritage, the compelling personality of Doha shone through their pictures as they traveled through the city. From the waterfront skyline to the Venetian-inspired canals of the Villagio Mall, they froze their charming bond against the best of Doha landmarks!
Their wedding kicked off with warm home-held festivities for their haldi and mehndi functions which saw lively decor and emotional moments with their loved ones
Hosted at the Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha with breathtaking vistas of the Persian Gulf and the shimmering skyline of the city, the wedding spelled pure magic. Dressed in hues of pink, Vibha and Gaurav arrived amidst great cheers from their friends and family, and tied the knot against a beguiling sunset backdrop. The revelries were then shifted indoors for a grand Reception, full of toasts, music, and dancing. The bride stepped into a glamorous avatar with a ravishing red gown, while the groom was as dapper as could be in a chic tuxedo as they danced the night away.
