A timeless sunset wedding proposal at the stunning Taj Fateh Prakash Palace, Udaipur!

Hosted at the beguiling lake-front property of Taj Fateh Prakash Palace in Udaipur, Harsh’s proposal to Shreenal was simply surreal. From a photo wall documenting their story of love to live music amidst an abundance of rose petals followed by perfectly timed fireworks, the stunning moment planned by WeddingSutra Favorite – Desert Pearl Entertainment was high on splendor.
How they met
Shreenal Badiani & Harsh Jain’s first interaction had been all the way back in 2014, when they were introduced by a mutual friend in London. Although it was in 2018 that they went out on their first date in India when they felt an instant connection, and they just knew that they were meant for each other.
The Proposal
Planned and conceptualized with the help of Desert Pearl Entertainment, Harsh pulled off a dreamy proposal for Shreenal at the undeniably royal venue of Taj Fateh Prakash Palace in Udaipur. He shares, “Shreenal loves waterfronts and sunsets. What could have been a better location than the royal city of lakes itself? The regal yet serene ambience of the heritage palace property was an obvious choice to make the moment unforgettable. Needless to say, the hospitality and service of the hotel was amazing.”
Set with bohemian elements like flowers and lanterns, the dreamy waterfront setup was flush with romance. A red carpet walkway scattered with rose petals and flanked by flower vases and lanterns led to the cozy candle lit date setup of plush cushions, a white teepee, dreamcatchers and more. An adorable photo wall full of the couple’s happy memories added a special touch to the evening. A huge marquee light with the words ‘Marry me’ glowed boldly aside while fireworks went off at Sunset even as Harsh went down on one knee on a heart-shaped bed of roses to pop the question to Shreenal. Serenaded by a live singer, the couple basked in the joy of the moment.
Looking back at his experience of working with Desert Pearl Entertainment, he shares, “Everything was flawless. Working with their team was the best decision I could have taken. From the perfect sunset to the beautifully executed decor, the occasion was everything I had imagined. The impeccable coordination with the photographer, live singer, fireworks and even the hotel for the perfect timing and set up made it one of the best moments we have shared together, and I cannot thank them enough”.
