A wedding that had it all, from calm Arabian night themes to Joker serving drinks at the bar!

From the word go, Anisha and Vijay’s wedding crafted and produced by WeddingSutra Favorite – Vivaah Celebrations was an unforgettable experience. Seamlessly merging traditional Indian rituals with theatrical wonder across two iconic venues, Fairmont Bab Al Bahr and the world-famous Warner Bros. Theme Park on Yas Island, the celebrations had everything from intimate moments and bespoke cocktails to delectable cakes and grand spectacles that left the guests in awe, especially when the ‘Joker’ served up their drinks!

Welcome Dinner
The celebrations commenced with an enchanting Arabian welcome dinner at Al Mazaj. Guests arrived to a world inspired by Middle Eastern charm, beautifully curated through warm mashrabiya patterns, hundreds of flickering candle lanterns, and earthy desert tones. Guests were treated to live grills filled and relaxing sheesha lounges. At the heart of the evening was a bespoke Arabian-inspired bar serving rose spritzers, saffron mojitos, date-espresso martinis, and spice-kissed cocktails that paid homage to the region’s flavours. DJ Rishi brought the night to life with his vibrant sets.
Vidhi
The Vidhi ceremony, the next morning, saw traditional rituals, prayers, and blessings, accompanied by folk dancers balancing pots and musicians bringing the sounds of Indian heritage alive. Charming chaiwalas served steaming masala Karak throughout the event, while thoughtful cultural gifts were handed to guests as a token of the couple’s gratitude.
Holi Bash
As the afternoon sun glistened over the beach, guests changed into vibrant attire for the spectacular Holi Beach Bash, named Rang Rang Mein. Renowned RJ Abhijeet opened the celebration, hosting and setting the energy before the festivities commenced.
Bright décor elements, colour-splashed installations, and towering Bali gates framing the serene blue waters marked the day. The bride and groom made a breathtaking entrance as a massive colour blast burst into the sky above them.
Haldi and Mehendi
The Haldi ritual followed, with the couple seated in large glistening Urlis as their loved ones applied turmeric amidst laughter and affection. All around them, guests enjoyed Indian delicacies, refreshing drinks, and the lively beat of UK-based DJ ARVEE. Coloured powder, water guns, floral showers, and the iconic “Rang Barse” moment created a scene so joyous that it will be remembered by every guest who attended.
The mehendi soiree in the night, saw the atmosphere transform into a magical world of music, dancing and sparklers.
Wedding
The highlight of the celebrations were the couple’s grand entrances. The Baraat was a spectacle, with DJs performing atop a Cybertruck, turning the procession into a moving rave. Guests in coordinated orange swayed in unison as Vijay arrived in a Rolls-Royce Dawn, escorted by ceremonial guards.
The mandap, a sleek contemporary structure dressed in fresh white blooms, set the stage for the rituals. A guest favourite was the Maison Cacao dessert cart, serving artisanal gelato, gourmet macaroons, and chilled coconut water.
The bride walked down the aisle surrounded by bridesmaids carrying traditional pots of oud, their rising smoke creating an air of mystique. She joined Vijay beneath the mandap, exchanging the Jaimala under a cascade of rose petals before beginning their sacred Pheras.
Brunch and After-party
The final day began with a relaxed, Dolce Vita inspired Italian brunch at Marco’s, rich with European flavours. By afternoon, guests were whisked away in a luxury transfer to Warner Bros. World™ Abu Dhabi, where hostesses, paparazzi flashes, a live saxophonist, and a surprise appearance by Wonder Woman set an unmistakably cinematic tone. Champagne in hand, they strolled through Metropolis toward a Grand Plaza transformed with personalised posters of Anisha and Vijay—an immersive red-carpet moment worthy of a Hollywood premiere.
Heartfelt speeches and a spirited round of dancing gave way to a theatrical twist as Gotham characters emerged, leading guests to an afterparty where DJ Arvee from the UK commanded the decks. Harley Quinn, Joker, and Batman mingled with the crowd, while the Joker-manned bar served playful cocktails. The music, energy, and spectacle carried late into the night, leaving guests captivated by the experience.
