How They Met
Jeet and Anushkha’s journey of love began with childhood friendship as classmates in the tenth grade. Attending their high school prom together, little did they know then that they had just sparked a lifelong togetherness. They got to know each other even better while attending an exchange program in Germany the following year, and that connection became stronger over distance and time as they set out in the world to pursue their paths. Through it all, they shared their dreams and passions, helping each other aim for the stars. Anushkha had always dreamt of starting her art brand, a field that Jeet also felt deeply connected to, and together they started Paperheads, an illustrations-based concept design brand. Their love further deepened as they worked together, helping the venture take off and bloom. In 2019, Jeet expressed his feelings and popped the question in Naukuchiatal, and they blissfully started planning the next chapter of their lives.
Planning
The couple hosted their wedding reception in Rajkot with great splendor, and brought on board the team of Ahmedabad-based Pristine Paige Events to design, style and conceptualize the occasion.
Reception
Inspired by the dainty allure and romance of French Gardens, the lush outdoor reception saw exquisitely crafted decor. An abundance of foliage, floral vines and arrangements permeated the space with its aroma, interspersed with French-style treillage, jardinières, arbors, pavilions with oeil de boeuf, vases, and urns, all of which was in the color of sage green. A canopy of flowers also hung above the dinner setting adding an extra touch of splendor. The whimsical green passage with foliage walls, flowers, candles and metallic green gates offered a sensory experience to the guests entering the function, evoking the look and feel of wandering through a French garden. Replete with dazzling experiences by musical masters like Adnan Sami and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, the evening was nothing short of magical.
