Akshita and Pranit’s Platinum Day of Love
Love Actually, Precious Platinum - May 30, 2017
Our series ‘Love Actually‘ captures beautiful moments between couples at some of the most stunning locations across Mumbai, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai.
We met Akshita and Pranit at the chic and contemporary Hotel Pullman New Delhi Aerocity. Akshita looked resplendent in the beige dress and stunning makeup by Tripti Rastogi. The couple exuded stylish elegance in gorgeous platinum Evara jewellery from Orra, and exquisite platinum love bands from Navrattan Jewellers. While Akshita shared her love story with us, photographers from Infinite Memories framed candid shots that captured memories which Akshita and Pranit will cherish forever.
Even before Akshita shared her beautiful love story with us, she was all praise for WeddingSutra for enabling her to plan her own wedding elements effectively. She shares, “I came across WeddingSutra four years ago and was mesmerized by the quality of pictures and its insightful content. I quickly followed its social media pages, and absolutely loved them all. The moment my wedding date was fixed, I made sure I logged on to WeddingSutra regularly to check out inspiring decor and outfit ideas that were also at par with the latest trends.”
Akshita lives in New Delhi and met her beau Pranit in college. “We met around seven years ago in college, and had lots of common friends.” She recalls that they hung out often as a group, and after a while, they knew they liked each other and were meant to be together. Months later, they started dating and were sure that their relationship would head towards marriage.
Since the two lived in the same city, it was easier for them to meet often. It was only when Akshita had to move to Bangalore to pursue her master’s degree that both started to feel a void. Akshita shares, “Even though we continued our long-distance relationship, it was difficult to stay apart. We were so used to each other that there were times we didn’t see each other for months, but our love only grew stronger.” It was precisely around this time that Pranit thought of surprising her with a dream proposal. “It was really sweet of Pranit to come to Bangalore and propose to me. His proposal didn’t remain a surprise after all, but nevertheless, I said ‘Yes!’”
“It was lovely and we cannot thank WeddingSutra enough for such a brilliant opportunity. The photographer MohitGoel of Infinite Memories was really helpful and even suggested the themes and ideas that inspired us. We spent our day of love at different locations like the poolside and the lush gardens wherein the magnificent surroundings of the hotel made everything look flawless. I am a bit skeptical about heavy makeup but was pleasantly surprised by the flawless look that Tripti crafted on me. It made me feel very beautiful,” says Akshita.
Pranit was especially happy about the platinum love bands because he loves minimalistic jewellery that also have a deeper meaning. Akshita explains, “Pranit and I love platinum jewellery as it is a symbol of eternity and permanence.”
As evening approached, Pranit and Akshita gazed together at the beautiful sunset with its golden colors and glowing radiance. As they look toward their future together, we wish the lovely couple all the love and luck for a beautiful start to their life as a married couple.
