Anish and Nikita’s pre-wedding photoshoot in Greece was all about spontaneous bonding

Corporate sales professionals Anish and Nikita met and bonded over school council discussions and campus festivals. Sparks flew and soon their friendship blossomed into a relationship. After dating for six years, they knew they were meant to be together. Anish’s proposal on a hilltop cabana at the W hotel in Goa was met with a heartfelt “Yes!” by Nikita.
The proposal, however, is just the beginning of the journey to matrimony. What follows is the pandemonium of wedding planning, starting with the pre-wedding shoot. Talking about their vision for the shoot, Anish shares, “Having dated since college, our relationship has grown with us. We are spontaneous people by nature, and we wanted our shoot to happen organically whenever inspiration stuck, and not by planning”. And inspiration did strike these lovebirds all the way in Mykonos!
On a trip to Greece for a friend’s wedding, the stunning locales of Mykonos called out to them. They wanted their love to be captured among the gorgeous Grecian vistas and entrusted their shoot to the incredible Elini Dona. Letting their wardrobe set the tone and mood of the pictures, they travelled to the far reaches of the town to get the perfect shots.
Recalling their photoshoot moments, Anish adds, “It was one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. As we explored the city and posed candidly, we attracted a lot of attention from fascinated tourists. One of our best memories is strolling down Little Venice. We even had to drink a shot at a bar, just so we could use the restroom to change our outfits! We loved that everything was relatively unplanned because we got to experience not just a new city, but also a new perspective to our bond as a couple, as during our shoot, the realization of our upcoming nuptials dawned upon us. We felt that we were about to embark on the biggest adventure of our lives together.”
Anish and Nikita plan to host a destination wedding in Jaipur in November 2019. The initial functions are slated to be held in the palatial estate of the Rajasthali Resort & Spa, while the wedding ceremony will take place at the Le Méridien Jaipur Resort & Spa.
