Balancing tradition with modern sensibilities – this wedding transitioned effortlessly from whimsy to glamour!
Wedding Planning - Nov 20, 2025
Sailee Gupte and Nikash Advani’s wedding unfolded as a seamless symphony of style, emotion, and storytelling that was brought to life by WeddingSutra Favorite — Believe Weddings, who translated the couple’s creative brief into an immersive, multi-day celebration. Hosted at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai, the festivities found the perfect setting in its expansive, contemporary spaces that effortlessly complemented the couple’s aesthetic vision. Every function offered something new to discover, ensuring that guests savored every moment to its fullest.

“From our very first meeting, we knew Sailee and Nikash wanted every event to feel like its own world,” shares Aashay Samel of Believe Weddings. “Their vision was clear. The duo wanted distinct moods, distinct palettes, and décor that felt personal.” With Sailee’s artistic sensibilities and Nikash’s eye for organised elegance, the planners crafted experiences that didn’t just look beautiful but also resonated with who they are as individuals and as a couple.

The festivities began with a vibrant Mehendi with an ‘Enchanted Forest’ theme crafted with bold colours, whimsical details, and abundant florals. Every corner reflected Sailee’s love for design, from hand-painted elements to quirky props that made the space feel alive and playful. “We wanted the Mehendi to feel like stepping into a magical world, something that mirrored Sailee’s creative spark,” adds Aditya Kedia.

The Sangeet transitioned into a completely different mood, a glamorous crimson evening lit with shimmer, drama, and the unmistakable energy of celebration. Rich red tones, luminous accents, and stylish décor elements came together to create a night that captured their love for glitz.

The wedding ceremony embraced serenity and purity, unfolding in soft pink pastels and classic floral arrangements that lent a timeless charm to the mandap. It was elegant, heartfelt, and thoughtfully detailed. The reception, in contrast, was a contemporary dream with sleek lines, sculptural floral installations, refined lighting, and a luxurious palette that felt fresh and effortlessly stylish.
