Bridal Beginnings with AZVA

When it comes to weddings, it is important for brides to flaunt their unique style instead of going in for some generic looks that are the flavor of the month, especially when it comes to jewelry. To help brides-to-be Shivi, Ekta and Richa zoom in on the bridal jewellery that was aligned with their individual tastes and personalities, WeddingSutra in association with India’s leading jewellery brand Azva hosted ‘Bridal Beginnings with AZVA.’
The sprawling AZVA store at Taj Santacruz in Mumbai opened up a world of exclusive designs where each girl was able to curate a look that was uniquely theirs. Richa, Ekta and Shivi were treated to a mini-makeover and a jewellery consultation with the experts at AZVA. Makeup maestros such as WeddingSutra Favorite – Aditi Mehra, WeddingSutra Favorite – Shachi Singh, and Anvita Walke gave each girl a distinctive look with their expert beauty techniques and creativity. The range of AZVA ornaments on display for the girls to browse and pick added that exquisite finesse and finish to their overall bridal looks.
Bride Richa
The first necklace that caught Richa’s eye was a contemporary showstopper. Fine craftsmanship was evident even in the most minute details of the piece. A panel of pearl clusters in the center displayed seven dainty flowers each one of which stood for the seven vows of marriage.
She also tried another necklace where delicate gold linked together to create an intricate web around the neck. The piece was trimmed with seven drops that featured red stones which were surrounded by uncut diamonds to complete the modern and versatile look.
Bride Ekta
Ekta’s personal favorite was an exquisite collar necklace that created a drape of rich interwoven circles which were dotted with seven symbolic floral clusters of white gold. Intricate details coupled with the brilliance of diamonds made this necklace a show stopper.
Another piece that had her attention fused classic and contemporary elements where seven kundan drops, representing the seven wedding vows, edged this nature-inspired piece. Fine textures created using relief work further enhanced its artistic charm.
Bride Shivi
A necklace with an open setting and seven rows of polki stones, which were inspired by the seven vows of marriage, was Shivi’s pick. She chose an intricate band of pink bead cluster that swathed around the neck before fanning out, and the textures on gold offered an eye-catching visual play. While she loved this piece, she couldn’t resist trying on a choker with gleaming kundan elements. Seven bold florals added sculptural intrigue while the drops bordering the motifs added another layer of interest to this statement piece.
Each item at AZVA that the girls picked resonated with them in some way. After all, the brand’s wide range of exquisite jewellery ensures that every bride-to-be will find something unique here be it classic or contemporary, elegant to edgy.
