Wedding Planning - Jul 15, 2024
Khushboo and Shreyansh’s wedding, planned by WeddingSutra Favorite – WAW Weddings, celebrated their love amidst the rich tapestry of heritage. The rich culture, majestic palaces, and vibrant colors of Rajasthan offered the perfect backdrop to their special day.
Wedding Planning
After much research, the couple chose The Westin Pushkar Resort & Spa for their special day. They entrusted the team of WAW Weddings to bring their dream wedding to life. Reflecting on their experience, they share “Our wedding planning experience was truly exceptional, thanks to the expertise and dedication of the team. Their attention to detail, creativity, and flawless execution made every moment leading up to our special day enjoyable and stress-free.”
Anchor Azhar Kazi elevated the atmosphere of every event, engaging guests and creating a fun environment throughout the celebrations.
Wedding Functions
Rehearsal Dinner
The festivities unfolded with an elegant Rehearsal Dinner. Vintage chandeliers, striking floral arrangements, and stunning mirror details added a luxe vibe to the evening, while traditional elements like “jaali” work, wooden seating, and intricately carved room dividers channeled the glory of Indian royal heritage.
Haldi
The joyous garden Haldi was filled with the vibrance and local flavors of Rajasthan. Traditional fabrics and rugs were interspersed with bright hues, colorful flowers, crystal memorabilia, and more to set an ambiance that combined the modern with the traditional.
Sangeet
The Sangeet night came alive in a confluence of magical blue lights and glistening crystals. A shimmering metallic tunnel of starry lights, disco balls, and sleek mannequins welcomed guests into a night of enchanting decor and performances. Neon elements and unique installations added to the eclectic mood of the night. The couple and their loved ones spent the evening reveling in rousing music and dance.
Carnival
The next day dawned with the vibrant colors and lively energy of the Carnival soiree. Enveloped in candy hues of blue, pink, and purple, the occasion was brimming with flowers, eclectic prints, striped designs, and much more. Games, like Catch the Rod, Air Stabilizer, Ball Tunnel, and more, kept the guests engaged, along with delicious culinary fare.
Wedding
The outdoor Wedding ceremony unfolded in rich hues of red and pink, decked with tons of flowers, foliage, and glittering chandeliers. The space was furnished with various seating options for their guests, including plush sofas, round tables, and long dining tables, that elevated the setup. The highlight of the occasion, however, was undoubtedly the mandap, imagined with striking floral pillars and a canopy of foliage.
Advice for couples
“The best advice for a couple planning their wedding is to remember that the day is ultimately about celebrating your love and commitment to each other. Stay true to yourselves and your values throughout the planning process. Communicate openly with each other and be willing to compromise when necessary. Focus on what truly matters to you both, whether it’s the venue, the guest list, or the vows you’ll exchange. And most importantly, don’t forget to enjoy the journey together, as it’s just the beginning of your beautiful life as a married couple.”
