Wedding Planning - May 19, 2023
Celebrating their unique story with a wedding just as spectacular, WeddingSutra Favorite – Designer Events Inc. unleashed their creativity to craft stellar decor themes and festivities. Watch it all unfold in the shots below by WeddingSutra Favorite – We Don’t Say Cheese.
Wedding Planning
Orchestrating the grand affair across a range of venues in Gurgaon, the team of Designer Events Inc. shares insight into the planning and design of the wedding. “The process of designing the decor for Mallika and Kartik got us thinking about how best to express the beauty of their love story and unique personalities. We let our creative juices flow freely to create bespoke concepts and designs for each of the events, and navigated decor elements and color palettes to bring out the best of every theme”
The team of We Don’t Say Cheese captured their moments in candid beauty.
Wedding Functions
Mehendi
The daytime backyard Mehendi was an idea filled with playfulness, best characterized by centerpieces covered by Tiffin boxes that showcased the art of Jaipur and the sweet memories of the 90s. The orange marigolds flattered by paper boats were a perfectly unique addition to the day, complete with a beautifully designed Mehndi Favor Corner.
Sangeet
The day continued with a rousing Sangeet where the dance floor was left unattended for not even a single moment! Tones of blue filled the space as the traditional art of the Patola was majestically incorporated in the linen, while other local arts from around the country inspired every aspect of the decor.
Haldi
As soulful and artistic as the Sangeet was, the Haldi was a cheerful confluence of sweet memories in a colorful expression of their love story. Imagined with yellow and green centerpieces of flowers, foliage, and lemon, beautifully set linens, and an utterly unique backdrop, it was the perfect Haldi setup for Mallika and Kartik. Filled with marigolds and hints of blue pottery beautifully combined with carved wooden elements and rustic Rajasthani arts, it was a portrayal of modern ethnicity.
Wedding
With Trident Hotel’s beautifully carved architecture, royalty was assembled in the most unique manner for the wedding in tones of emerald green and lavender with hints of gold. An abundance of traditional and exotic blooms combined with bells, antique lamps, and chandeliers set an ambiance or regal serenity. The showstopper for the evening however was the mandap, which featured a stunning tree backdrop with garlands of flowers towering over the couple as they took their vows.
