Captain Cool’s Catch is Cute: Dhoni to tie the knot

One of the India’s most eligible bachelors MS Dhoni is tying the knot. The girl is Sakshi Singh Rawat who has just passed-out of the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Aurangabad. While we know a lot about India’s cricket captain, popularly known as Captain Cool, we were eager to know more about his ‘catch’.
A friend of the cricketer spoke to us: “At heart, Dhoni is a simple, small-town guy. Though he has been linked to so many glamour queens, he wanted a smart and stylish girl who could live comfortably in a small town too. Petite and pretty Sakshi, who he met at a party in Mumbai two years ago, seems perfect. She has lived in different towns including Ranchi where her father worked, and has schooled at the elite Welham Girls School. She’s cute and chirpy, fashionable and not bohemian in lifestyle, and it appears she can adjust well with a high-profile circle and live easily in a traditional joint family.”
Sakshi has beautiful kohl-lined eyes, and wears a funky hair cut (by Dhoni’s favorite hairstylist Sapna Bhavnani of Mad-o-wot) so we’re waiting to see Sakshi wear what we presume will be a glamorous yet traditional bridal ensemble. The hush-hush engagement was at Hotel Bhagirath in Dehradun, where her parents now live. Till recently, Sakshi was working as a Trainee at Kolkata’s Taj Bengal. According to the friend, Sakshi is now beginning to take interest in cricket, but she prefers to spend her free time listening to music and watching soaps and shows on television. We wish Sakshi and Dhoni all luck in their new innings!
