A three-day affair held in the Pink City, Pranjli and Gaurav’s nuptials were a feast for the eyes. With a mammoth task of curating a course of events for over 900 guests, WeddingSutra Favorite FB Celebrations left no stone unturned and delighted guests with their fusion of traditional Indian elements at modern-themed events. These celebrations were served up with just the right amount of desi glam and color. Each event made a bold statement, giving Pranjli and Gaurav’s ‘happily ever after’ a sparkling start.
With power-packed performances by Bollywood stalwarts and gorgeous decor, the celebration left the couple and their families brimming with happiness. Bhavnesh Sawhney, co-founder of FB Celebrations said, “We made it our goal to ensure that the wedding would remain etched in the memories of all the attendees. The family and the couple were a joy to work with and helped us understand exactly what they wanted in terms of themes and sets.”
To kick start the wedding celebrations, the duo sought the blessings of Ganesha with a breathtaking Maha Aarti that was inspired by royal temples. Using hues of orange and maroon in the decor, this occasion was a showcase of Indian traditions where the unveiling of a Ganesha statue was celebrated. The entire venue was lit up in the soft glow from the diyas as the couple and their guests offered prayers.
Following the solemn Maha Aarti was the colorful mehndi, which was celebrated in a unique fashion using a combination of two themes: ‘The Indian Rambo Circus’ and ‘European Atelier’. There was a colorful cutwork canopy, comfy seating areas and captivating performers at this event. Adding to the entertainment was celebrity host Maniesh Paul, who kept the audience amused with his witty observations.
For the sangeet, the theme was ‘Crystals Along The Poolside’ and the event was held at the sprawling lawns of The Fairmont Hotel. The center of attention was the awe-inspiring stage, with its silver crystal-like design and a digital screen backdrop that bore the monogram of the couple’s name. The starry backdrop of the stage made the area look like a beautiful night sky, while grand crystal chandeliers that hung from the ceiling amped up the glam quotient. Bollywood favorite Sukhbir won the guests over with his energetic performance that had everyone shaking a leg.
The wedding was a glitzy affair for which the team at FB Celebrations pulled out all the stops. Held at JW Marriott’s Jharokha, the palatial architecture of the hotel served as a dreamy royal backdrop. Every detail was carefully planned and taken care of on the big day and the newlyweds couldn’t have been happier as it went seamlessly.

The three-day affair wound up in the most stylish way possible with an extremely glamorous reception that was replete with elements that reflected light in the room, setting the mood as Pranjli and Gaurav took to the stage for their first dance as man and wife. Adding a touch of romance were the fairy lights that were peppered all around the lawn, emanating a soft golden glow. White flowers were generously used, adding a delicate beauty to the affair. The famous Malik brothers, Armaan and Amaal, Bollywood singer Neeti Mohan crooned their best-loved tracks, setting a romantic and upbeat atmosphere for the final celebration.
