Celebrating tradition and heritage through design, this couple’s destination wedding in Goa was a vibrant fusion of colors!
Wedding Planning - Aug 5, 2025
Set against the serene shores of Goa, Mohini and Priyank’s wedding was a heartfelt fusion of cultures and a tribute to their shared journey. With the sun-drenched coastline as their canvas, the couple envisioned a celebration that echoed the harmony of their union. Giving shape to this vision was WeddingSutra Favourite – Knotie Production, which translated their story into an immersive design experience rooted in cultural nuance and artistic flair.

Mohini and Priyank didn’t just want decor, they wanted their story to unfold through every corner of the venue. They wished to honour their roots while embracing the soul of goa. Every element was thoughtfully curated to reflect that. Every celebration must carry its heartbeat. For this one, it was colour, tradition, and authenticity wrapped in elegance.

The festivities began with the Garba-Sangeet night, titled Navrang, which took inspiration from the vibrant nine nights of Navratri. Designed as an explosion of colour, the venue came alive in dual tones with layers of pinks, purples, oranges, and yellows, all gently grounded by lush green accents. Drawing deeply from Gujarat’s cultural aesthetics, the team incorporated traditional Kutchi art into the set structures and backdrops. Suspended drapes and fairy lights turned the ceiling into a starlit sky, lending the space a dreamlike aura.

The wedding mandap, inspired by temple architecture, stood regally with three domes, draped in hundreds of cascading chrysanthemum strings and delicate Rajnigandha tassels. Set against an ivory palette with stone-finish textures, the intricately carved structure glistened under soft daylight, while a mirrored gold bridal aisle added just the right touch of opulence. Surrounding the mandap were floral arrangements and delicate round structures featuring gota work, which brought richness without distracting from the natural beauty of the Goan landscape.
