The historic architecture and Nizami majesty of Hyderabad was the perfect setting for a pre-wedding shoot celebrating Claire and Mallik’s cross-cultural union.
How We Met
Mallik is a physician at Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences in Loni in Maharashtra, and I am a medical student at Oregon Health and Science University in the USA. Three years ago, I came to Mallik’s University for an internship and discovered that we both really liked each other. We enjoyed every moment we spent together in Loni, so much so that when I had to go back to the USA, we discussed a long-distance relationship. After three years of a wonderful courtship, Mallik surprised me on an early morning hike to World’s End during our vacation in Sri Lanka. He went down on one knee to propose and I said yes!
The Pre-Wedding Shoot
Since our love story had started and grown in India, we knew that we wanted this to be reflected in our pre-wedding shoot. Mallik is from Hyderabad and with its beautiful culture, stunning architecture, and royal history- we couldn’t imagine a perfect place to capture our story!
Together with our photographers from Two Fireflies One Camera we selected a number of locations around the city; the magnificent Paigah Tombs, Ohri’s Restaurant at Necklace Road and the historic Golconda Fort to permanently freeze our most romantic moments in stunning photographs we will cherish forever!
