Concept Tables at WeddingSutra Influencer Awards by Natasha Dalal
WeddingSutra Influencer Awards - May 21, 2018
The WeddingSutra Influencer Awards, besides being an occasion meant to honor excellence, was also a glittering platform for some of the most esteemed fashion designers in the industry. Christened ‘Experience Partners’, each designer created two concept tables inspired by their latest wedding collections and added a wealth of visual resonance. In the previous part of this series, we brought to you Arpita Mehta’s table inspired by an enchanted forest, this time we shine the spotlight on Natasha Dalal’s setup.
With the British Raaj, India saw an influx of ideas and influences from the West, and with time, they became a part of the Indian fabric. Natasha Dalal’s table was an ode to this fusion of designs from these two different parts of the world. Her table was graced by one of the most majestic animals found in India, the elephant. A golden sculpture of this gentle giant sat on a pedestal that was placed on top of a vibrant bed of flowers and greens. A beaded fan emerged from the setting adding a touch of grace and several candles surrounded the setup.
The floral theme was extended to the napkins which were tied using ribbons adorned with cut-outs of white flowers. The chairs, too, were decked with arrangements of fresh pink roses and brought in a romantic vibe to the setting.
