Concept Tables at WeddingSutra Influencer Awards 2019 by Ridhi Mehra
WeddingSutra Influencer Awards - May 7, 2019
The WeddingSutra Influencer Awards, an occasion meant to honor excellence, was a grand platform for some of the most esteemed bridal fashion game-changers in the industry. Christened ‘Experience Partners’, each designer styled two concept tables, inspired by their latest bridal collections highlighting the true essence of their designs. After a glimpse of the concept tables created by some of the nation’s most talented artists, it’s now time to bring designer Ridhi Mehra under the limelight for the marvelous concept tables she created exclusively for the event.
Ridhi Mehra’s first table was a personification of elegance coupled with the dewy viridity of spring. It was inspired by her collection ‘A Lot Like Spring’ and was in perfect sync with the outfits worn by her stunning muses – Mitali Sagar and Summiyya Patni of House Of Misu. The table boasted of white flowers and foliage rising a few feet high above the table. Strings of tiny white tuberose flowers extending from the top to one side of the table added to the natural charm. Surrounding the floral structure stood mid-sized metallic candles emitting a mesmerizing glow, and tall glass containers beholding creamy pearls and sprigs of gypsophilas.
The second table was in sync with the floral theme and showcased a splatter of colors across the palette. The spring inspired decor for this specific table looked nothing less than an enchanted garden. Golden cauldrons placed on glass cases held flowers together in the soothing shades of white and pink. The tables were also occupied by tea-light candles and glass jars with ribbons of floral-print fabric and strings of beads from Ridhi’s bridal collection tied around them. The theme inspired mixologists The Wedding Bartenders and Hops Cork curated a special cocktail called – The Elderflower and Rosemary Fizz to be served at the tables. Through her concept tables, the designer certainly perfected the color-scheme that every spring bride would love to have at her wedding.
