‘A Day with WeddingSutra Favorites’ is a series that celebrates couples who are planning their nuptials by introducing them to the best experts and services in the weddings sphere. The lucky winners get to spend a day with the WeddingSutra team and visit a curated list of jewellery experts, wedding couturiers and other relevant specialists.
Akshita and Pranit were college sweethearts. After dating for years, they finally decided to tie the knot. Akshita is a fan of WeddingSutra and considers it as the ‘go to’ site for wedding planning. When she finally got a chance to feature on ‘A Day with WeddingSutra Favorites’, she was elated. “It was an amazing experience and helped Pranit and I to finally kickstart our wedding planning.” Here, she shares highlights of their experience.

“Our first stop was Tripoetic. Honeymoon planning always gets us excited, and it was a pleasure to discuss our needs further with Gunjan and Pranjali, the founders of Tripoetic. They were also open to our suggestions and were happy to design an itinerary based on our thoughts, tastes and personalities, which is always a plus!”

Stop 2: Bhumika Grover
“To be honest, Pranit and I spent most of our time at the Bhumika Grover store. We were both awestruck by the array of great wedding wear and the brilliant play of colors she had in her collection. Her pastel collection, specifically, caught my fancy as it complemented my personal style. I could definitely see myself wearing at least one of her designs at my mehndi or cocktail function.”

Stop 3: Makeup Artist Supriti Batra
“I rarely apply makeup, and even when I do, I like it looking absolutely natural and flawless. Makeup artist Supriti Batra understood my minimalistic tastes very well. She did a brilliant job in transforming me and even gave me useful insights about skincare and makeup. It was great to ask her various makeup related questions which she answered based on her extensive experience.”

“Visiting The Sinful Spoon was one of the highlights of our entire experience, and I cannot thank WeddingSutra enough for introducing us to them.
