#DeepVeer – The Wedding Looks that Broke the Internet!
Celebrity News - Nov 16, 2018
Waiting with bated breath to see what the couple-of-the-moment, Ranveer and Deepika wear at their wedding and we finally have the answer! The pictures are breaking the internet as we speak, and you can finally feast your eyes on these two.
We take a closer look into their wedding looks—the hair, the makeup and all the other details that took Deepika and Ranveer’s wedding ensemble to the next level.
The mehndi ceremony witnessed the bride in her signature neutral, clean and fresh makeup. Flawless base, nude-brown lipstick and a slight accent on the eyes complemented perfectly by casually tied back hair.
From sleek gelled hair for the Konkani ceremony to a groomed moustache for the Sindhi wedding, we love the subtlety and simplicity of Ranveer’s looks!
Makeup Artist Sandhya Shekar gave Deepika a warm and matte finish for her South Indian Bridal look. For the eyes, Deepika went for a warm bronze taupe matte eyeshadow blended with a diffused smokey eye. She finished off her bridal look with a matte mauve lip colour that gave her just the perfect amount of charm!
For the Sindi Bridal look, Deepika chose warm-toned makeup keeping her face and lips nude. Her eyes were the focus of attention and were dark and smoky, with a hint of gold. Both times, her makeup was neutral, perfectly showing off her natural beauty. Her hair was centre-parted and tied back in a sleek style with a braid at the back and then twisted it up in a bun, which allowed the statement maang tikka to stand out. She had two rows of gajra with the earrings hinged into the braided bun at the back and the maatha patti on top, and the dupatta at the back.
For the lavish reception in her hometown, Deepika went for thickly-lined eyes with beautiful bronze eye makeup, red lips and styled her hair in a centre-parted bun and kept the sindoor the main focus of her look. The beautiful bride opted for layers of gajra in her hair that was tied in a bun and vermilion.
For the post-wedding party in Mumbai, the couple took things up a notch with their looks. Deepika accessorized her beautiful ensemble with a floral headband and braided updo and jewellery from the Sabyasachi Heritage. Her braided hairdo might just be our favourite part of her look and, of course, the goth-inspired eye makeup. Ranveer, on the other hand, wore some Kajal and accessorized his outfit with handcrafted embellishments along with a multi-layered pearl and polki necklace.
The second in the series of post-wedding parties was held at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai and was attended by family members and friends along with media. The looks had us stunned for this evening with Ranveer glowing in his gelled moustache and regal pompadour hair. His ladylove looked classy and regal in a ‘nude’ makeup look this time with glossy eyes, lips and heavy highlighting! With a neutral brown at the crease and some gold shimmer on her lids, the bride finished her look with a true nude lipstick and nude lip gloss.
For the Bollywood reception in Mumbai, the couple upped the glam quotient in their red and black outfits. The bride wore a delicate mangalsutra with a diamond pendant and red chura in her hand while her everlasting smile and loosely curled tresses were even more eye-catching. Ranveer, on the other hand, looked suave this evening with his beard look and retro black frame.
