How many Indian weddings have taken place at the property so far?
“Being a new resort, it has been our pleasure and honor to have hosted over three Indian weddings at InterContinental Fujairah till date.”
Does the property have wedding planners and decorators on its panel who couples could work with? How open is the hotel about working with new or external teams that the couple may prefer?
“While our dedicated event teams harbour a roster of preferred partners we collaborate with, we are open to interface with organizers of the bridal party’s choice. After all, it is their special day.”
An Indian wedding includes several rituals that may not be possible to conduct at a lot of international venues (pheras with fire in indoor spaces, noisy baraat procession, etc). Are there any restrictions that couples need to keep in mind when hosting a wedding there?
“None at all! Our venues are conducive to hosting traditional rituals, with the option of a full resort buyout.”
Food is a very important aspect of Indian weddings, and many communities prefer vegetarian food. How comfortable are your chefs with preparing traditional vegetarian cuisine that will please the Indian palette?
“As the food is a high-priority necessity of wedding functions, we trust our understanding of complex Indian flavors and palettes to deliver a truly delectable culinary experience, be it vegetarian or non-vegetarian. Our Executive Chef, F&B Director, Indrajit Saha brings with him an extensive repertoire and savoir-faire of classic Indian cuisine.”
What is the approximate budget that families should keep in mind when hosting a wedding at InterContinental Fujairah?
“As most of the services are personally curated in detail in line with a couples’ preference, we cater to all budgets and make it work as per every couple’s expectations and choices.”
