Elegant and whimsical – this couple’s engagement featured an array of rich colors and several personalised decor elements!
Wedding Planning - Nov 10, 2022
Looking straight out of dreamland with its elegant floral setup accentuated by metallic gold elements, Akanksha Singh and Aditya Tiwari’s engagement in Gurgaon was a beautiful celebration. Decorating the close-knit engagement event while overcoming numerous obstacles was WeddingSutra Favorite – Nazara who with their expertise made the venue look stunning and the overall experience a seamless one!
Sharing the brief she received from the couple and how they went about bringing it to life, Kriti Sharma from Nazara says, “Akanksha and Aditya were keen on a decor that exuded desi feels but, at the same time, they wanted to veer away from the convention, traditional elements that one usually sees at such events. Keeping their preferences in mind, we used multi-hued florals but kept vintage rose as one of the dominant hues in the colour palette. We incorporated Indian embroidery fabric within the decor to add that extra dash of desi. And, since this was in the middle of the pandemic, we took every measure seriously and followed hygiene protocols. Sanitiser and mask stations were strategically placed across the venue so the guests would be safe and mingle without a worry.”
With a stage flanked by arches adorned by foliage and lit up by multiple chandeliers, the couple had a gala time as they comfily lounged on an old-rose-colored sofa. Additionally, team Nazara ensured that the close-knit event was personalised regardless of the scale. Kriti shares, “The couple was also keen on a few personalised elements and we interspersed the same across the venue. Personalised bar signage, entry signage and a photo op with their hashtag were one of the many elements that were customised in the decor.”
