Pre-wedding photo shoots are amazing experiences as they provide a wonderful way to bond with your partner in stunning frames but also lend the opportunity for a couple to get comfortable around a camera before their big day. If a shoot is on your mind, we have our month’s favorites to get your creative juices flowing.
Love and Luxe – Khushi Film Art
The Oberoi Udaivilas in Udaipur, Rajasthan, is a sanctuary of sumptuousness where Nikita and Shashank made the most of at their pre-wedding photo shoot. Their pictures give us a glimpse of their beautiful romance against luxurious backdrops. Be it pictures of the scenic Lake Pichola or those of the couple against the beautiful architecture of the hotel; each frame is magical and memorable. Photographer Sukhbir Singh shares, “We tried to capture the beautiful moments that Nikita and Shashank enjoyed at the picturesque Oberoi Udaivilas which combines tradition with modern day luxuries, and epitomize the couple themselves. Both of them are highly educated, independent individuals who are deeply grounded in their traditions.”
As Old As Time – Reflexion by Nishchay Shinde
“Akshat and Stephanie’s pictures are reminiscent of old-world charm and the romance of the bygone days. This quality makes their photographs timeless and evokes feelings of warmth and nostalgia. For one of the looks, the bride-to-be wore a saree that belonged to Akshat’s grandmother. Photographer Nischay Shinde recalls, “Stephanie knew exactly how she wanted her pre-wedding shoot to be like yet gave us full freedom to execute the shoot. She wanted a mix of rustic buildings and greenery whereas Akshat wanted a beach to be a part of the pre-wedding photo shoot, so we selected Daman as it had all these places.”
Love In The City – Candid Wedding Stories
Instead of escaping to a faraway destination, Ganesh and Priyanka conducted their pre-wedding shoot in Los Angeles. The glittering cityscape was the perfect backdrop for their contemporary fairytale romance. From poses by the waterfront at the Manhattan Pier or those under the glow of 202 street lamps at the Urban Lights, each picture captures an unmissable charm and buzz of this bustling city. Their expressions convey their deep love, and the color and composition of the photographs mirror it perfectly.”
Raw Meets Royalty – Knotting Bells
Saloni and Harshal’s pre-wedding photoshoot in Jodhpur fuses age-old Rajasthani heritage and architecture with young love resulting in pictures that the duo will treasure for a long time. While each photo is framed perfectly, an aerial shot of the couple in the center of a grass-covered circle with symmetrical elements stands out. Lensman Shrey Bhagat shares, “Saloni and Harshal were scheduled to get married just ten days after we met them. However, shortly after we got talking, we had a clear vision of what the shoot had to look like. We knew that we had to shoot in a location that was royal yet had a grunge vintage vibe so we could capture the shades of Saloni and Harshal’s romance in a more compelling manner.”
Classy and Cool – WhatKnot
If you thought that classy and cool are opposite themes, Deepali and Rohan’s pre-wedding photo shoot dispels that notion. The couple’s pictures span both moods without losing synergy. The picturesque environs of Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel add to the beauty of the frames. Photographer Aditya shares why they chose the lakeside venue, “Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel was a clear decision mainly because it has a mix of lush green lawns, lake views, and gorgeous interiors. Moreover, we had a clear understanding of what Deepali’s and Rohan’s tastes and were like. This hotel matched their style very well; they looked like they belonged there due to which the aesthetic appeal of the pictures was enhanced further.”
