It’s not everyday that you get the chance treat yourself to a pre-wedding photoshoot so if you’re justified in having some jitters about making it perfect.
Looking for ideas and inspiration will help calm those nerves and conjure up some creativity. Here are our favorites for this month.
Fun and Finesse – Priyam Parikh Pictures
It’s a rare feat to combine both carefree and classic moods in a series of shots that all maintain a common synergy as well. Chandani and Sapan’s shoot however manages the perfect balance.
Photographer Priyam Parikh tells a little about the couple and the choice of their location. “Being an Indian origin couple from Kentucky IL. USA, these two were looking to have a photoshoot in their homeland that represented its culture and diversity. The ideal location was Mandvi Beach in Gujarat that has the Vijay Vilas Palace in close proximity. We wanted shots that had an element of fun as well as those that exuded romance. This place let us capture both these moods with ease,” he says.
Young Love – Allied
Highschool sweethearts Divyanka and Moksh’s long friendship affords them a beautiful ease with each other. Allied deftly captures their love in frames that make their shared humor and chemistry tangible against beautiful backdrops. The series evolves from casual stances to gorgeously posed photos that embody elegance and poise.
Photographer Harpreet Singh Chanana says, “The shoot was a reflection of their true selves. They’re both very confident and comfortable with each other, the love between them is intense and as they have been together since they were in school, they never miss a chance to tease each other.”
Myriad Moods – Lights & Stories by Pramod Mitta
Neha and Rutesh’s photoshoot captures the many facets of their relationship. True romantics, the couple also love adventure and are immersed in the culture they were raised in. Each of these diverse aspects and more were brought into images effortlessly.
“The idea was to bring in a lot of variety. So we went to Pune, where we found hills and a forest. We also shot in a fort, palace and a church all of which made for great locations for this shoot,” says photographer Pramod Mitta. Letting us in on the duo’s love story he says, “Neha and Rutesh were friends since college. However, when Neha’s parents started looking for a suitable match for their daughter, he realized how much he liked her and proposed to her.”
Romantic Escape – Sunny Diman Photography
Gursimran and Harmeet made the most of Himachal’s untouched landscape for their photoshoot and posed gracefully against pristine views of the land. Their pictures exude a sophisticated charm and the tranquil surroundings evoke a sense of serenity amidst which their love shines brightly.
“They wanted to keep the shoot casual and chic since they were not very really sure of how they would pose in front of the camera,” says photographer Sunny Dhiman. “We shot in Una, a district in Himachal Pradesh for the serene atmosphere there. The concept was subtle, with greater focus on the sweet little moments these two shared. What was marvelous was that a little while into the shoot, they were posing with such confidence and comfort that it appeared as though they had known each other for years.”
Vibrant hues to beat the blues – Various Vision Venture
Bright colors spell happiness in Jeel and Ankit’s photoshoot. The smiles are contagious in Kinnari Gaikwad’s documenting of their love story. Jeel’s wardrobe matches the lush environs of Aamby Valley City perfectly and their chemistry adds a whole lot of charm.
Kinnari Gaikwad says, “Jeel and Ankit were a super fun and enthusiastic couple to shoot. What made it even better was that they were keen on experimenting with ideas. They wanted the whole experience to be relaxed and enjoyable so we spaced our schedule out over two days.”
