Our Favourite Pre Wedding Photoshoots of February

Each one of this month’s photoshoot has a distinctive stance and tone. But they all have one thing in common – fantastic locations. Shot across the country, each shoot is unique to each love story and the backdrops seem tailored to fit the mood of each frame.

Fun Under The Sun – WhatKnot

Goa isn’t all about the beaches and the parties. The sunshine state is a trove of heritage homes, verdant hills, bright public spaces and Shweta and Dhaval’s pre-wedding photographs shot by WhatKnot make the most of it all. The pictures highlight the playful, strong bond the couple share. The colors bring a cheeriness to each frame and the expressions are unique.

“We wanted our shoot to be very different and the WhatKnot team understood the concept we had in mind perfectly. On the day of the shoot, they made us feel so comfortable and this meant we got some very natural looking pictures. We can’t thank them enough for this. They have given us memories to last us a lifetime!” says the groom.

Sweet Nothings – We Don’t Say Cheese

Jothis and Sukanya’s relationship began when they were in college and their long-standing bond gives their chemistry a natural ease – the kind that shows up beautifully in photographs.

“They wanted a simple, intimate photoshoot that brought to the fore the love they have for each other. The only thing that we were focused on was creating frames that did justice to their emotions and we are amazed at the way the photos turned out! We still can’t get over the pure emotion in all of the photos,” says Hera Rasool from We Don’t Say Cheese.

Painting Pretty Pictures – Shutter Magik

Akriti and Pavan’s shoot is amongst the most charming one would have ever seen. The photos showcase breathtaking backdrops but Shutter Magik ensures that the connection the two share shines brighter than the views.

Anuj Sahai from Shutter Magik says, “We shot at two different locations – the Empress Botanical Garden, Pune, and Lavasa. The idea was to create pictures with aesthetics that would inspire awe and we were able to achieve that not just because of the venue but also because of this duo’s chemistry.”

City Love – Mrinal Khatnani Photography

Khyati and Kavish met as engineering students but the emotions their pre-wedding photographs reveal are far from engineered. There’s an organic beauty to the pictures Mrinal Khatnani Photography has created. The images celebrate the charm of the coastline of the City of Dreams and the results are every bit breathtaking.

“We wanted to keep the entire experience as real as possible. Since we are both from Mumbai and absolutely love the city, we decided to shoot right here at some of its most iconic spots,” says the bride excitedly.

Tender Romance – Movie’ing Moments

A hilly landscape and a picturesque setting extend just the right mood for romance. So Ritika and Jimit made their way to The Machan in Lonavala for their pre-wedding photoshoot. However, the appeal of the beautifully framed pictures shot by Movie’ing Moments goes beyond just visual allure.

The bride says, “We shot in Lonavala because we wanted to relive the activities we loved while we were dating. It made our relationship what it is and we don’t ever want to forget that so it made sense to capture those moments before we got married.”
