The pre wedding photoshoots are a wonderful way to freeze that magical interlude between your courtship and your life as man and wife. It’s a pause to look at who you are, individually and as a couple and bringing your interests, quirks, and aesthetics into the photoshoot is the perfect way to capture the moment.
If you’re trying to figure out what suits you best as a couple, we have some of our favorite pre-wedding shoots for you to get inspired by.
1. Romantic Escape – Dreamcatchers Photography
Avid travelers and foodies, Richa and Khushil chose Lavasa for their pre-wedding shoot shot by Dreamcatchers Photography. The couple explains, “We grew up in the UAE and so a trip to India was never ‘going back home’. It was always a new adventure, a new place to visit, a new regional dish to try. We wanted to surprise our friends and family with the scenic views, colorful buildings and clear skies of the mini Europe of Maharashtra.” The couple managed to portray their connection and love against two backdrops by capturing moments of their romance amidst the beautiful surroundings.
2. Tropical Romance – KnotsbyAMP
Sai and Trupti made the most of their tropical destination, Ozran Beach in Goa. “This is one of the few beaches in North Goa which is secluded from the crowd and the hustle-bustle,” they said, “There are rocks, cliffs and it is surrounded with palm trees, so this was the ideal place for us. As the shoot progressed, the weather started changing and beautiful clouds appeared. The whole scene was magical.” Each frame is replete with tropical magic and Trupti’s yellow gown stood out and added more charm to the pre-wedding shoot shot by KnotsbyAMP.
3. Love in Paradise – Movie’ing Moments
Harshil and Richa’s pre-wedding photoshoot in Goa was all about picturesque environs with a dose of fun. Posing on the beach and at a heritage fort, their expressions captured by Movie’ing Moments convey their deep love. Each frame has a delightful charm and the color and composition of the photographs are perfect.
4. A Royal Twist – Sunny Dhiman Photography
Viraj and Gayatri made the most of multiple locations across Udaipur at their pre-wedding photoshoot shot by Sunny Dhiman Photography. Their pictures give us a glimpse of their beautiful romance against royal backdrops. Whether it is pictures of the Kumbalgarh Fort or those of the couple against the beautiful architecture of the City Palace and Monsoon Palace, each frame is magical and memorable. Modern love and vintage settings are a timeless combination and make for compelling viewing.
5. Surreal Montages – Weddings by Knotty Days
Leh’s stunning landscapes always threaten to outshine any subject you put before them but Weddings by Knotty Days managed to keep Niharika and Vishrut’s romance very much ‘in the picture’ at their pre-wedding photoshoot in the stunning high-altitude desert. The talented team shot this gorgeous couple and captured warm emotion with the beautiful but cold mountains of Leh as their backdrop.
6. As Old As Time – Shutterdown
Pallavi and Akhil’s pictures are exemplars of old-world charm and modern romance making their photographs timeless. Shot in historic Prague, Shutterdown managed to capture the beautiful charm of the city as it showcased young love resulting in pictures that the duo will treasure for a long time. The pictures are a wonderful meld of warmth and nostalgia despite looking like a contemporary fairytale.
