Flaunting a stunning scarlet-hued mandap, this couple’s traditional Jaipur wedding was awe-inspiring!
Wedding Planning - Feb 16, 2021
With stunning architecture encircling them, Devshree and Sheshank Jain’s nuptials were filled with vibrancy and tradition all thanks to the variety of distinctive themes that each function had. Decorated by WeddingSutra Favorite – Gunjan Singhal Designs who were at their creative best, each function at this duo’s nuptials was a complete winner.
Equipped with different themes that were expertly conceptualized by Gunjan Singhal Designs, each event at Devshree and Shashank’s wedding was an extravagant spectacle that aptly expressed their vivacious personalities. Set against the elegant arches of old school architecture, their wedding kick-started with a musical Qawwali night that followed a Moroccan theme. Peppered with mysterious-looking Moroccan lamps that cast their golden glow over the venue and sheer white gazebos that contained comfy seating spaces for the guests, this event urged everyone to relax under the night sky and enjoy the enthralling tunes of Rinni Chandra.
The next morning, everyone was treated to a colorful Mehendi function where the bride along with her gal pals got henna patterned on their palms. Swathed in hues of pink and blue with quirky butterfly-shaped wall hangings and a yellow Vespa scooter at the entrance, this event also boasted of a special seating area for the bride where she lounged in comfort.
As evening descended, everyone took the dance floor by storm in a galaxy of stars themed Sangeet night where they grooved to their favorite Bollywood tracks surrounded by fairy lights.
Staying true to tradition, the Haldi was conceptualized around a ‘brij rasleela theme’ and bathed in hues of yellow which contrasted delightfully against the white marbled architecture of the venue. Hosted under a sheer yellow canopy through which the sunshine filtered in, this function was decorated by garlands of flowers and earthen pots adorned with orange marigolds. Furthermore, at the end of this boisterous haldi session, a phoolon ki holi was organized where everyone let out their inner child as they hurled flower petals at each other.
For the big day, team Gunjan Singhal Designs pulled all stops and orchestrated a grand traditional wedding that inspired awe at every turn. Adorned with a circular mandap whose dome was crafted out of scarlet-hued roses and tables lined with blooms, the wedding was the perfect embodiment of a royal fairytale. Furthermore, traditionally carved spiked diya holders lit up the venue as the couple took their phere surrounded by their loved ones.
