Floor-to-ceiling floral arrangements set a soothing aura for this wedding ceremony at ITC Grand Central in Mumbai

A floor-to-ceiling arrangement of hand-picked flowers and subtle foliage in varied green hues, set a soothing aura for Ankita & Shashank’s wedding ceremony held at ITC Grand Central in Mumbai. WeddingSutra Favorite – Ashwin Rajpal, along with his passionate team, went above and beyond by focusing on the smallest details as well as taking charge of the vital wedding requirements, thus casting a spell with their impeccable design.
The main stairway leading to the heavenly decorated place, welcomed the guests with beautiful decorations which was brimming with creativity. Fresh flowers and cascading greens enhanced either sides of the entrance passage, adding to the freshness, while the brass bowls filled with water and jasmine buds added a refreshing subtle fragrance throughout the function. Brass candelabras, tiny wooden logs, and brass candleholders were just enough to get noticed without taking away from the beautiful blooms. At the end of the stairway, was an arched structure decorated with white drapes and floral arrangement, and it had a large Ganesha idol clad in soothing colors swaying with the cool breeze on a floral decorated swing.
The passage leading to the indoor venue recreated the vibe of walking under the stars designed to perfection with fairy lights shining behind the overhead drapes and creepers hanging on either side, further adding to the fun element.
Guests took out their cameras to get clicked against the hexagonal wooden structure with a wooden stool in the middle, pastel pink flowers on one side, and hanging crystals and lights on the other side, giving a minimalistic touch to the photobooth.
Following a circular seating arrangement covered with golden net tailored fabric over white drapes, the tables were decorated with white and pink flowers gently placed on a wooden log. A bespoke throne designed for the couple was designed with white chair lounges placed against the beautiful backdrop of pristine white drapes covered with flowers and foliage. Using the same decor elements for the mandap, the up-lights from behind added a magical touch to their wedding ceremony.
