From exotic Havana nights to the sun-kissed gardens of Tuscany, this Udaipur wedding was a goldmine of sensory experiences

Crafted with exquisite décor and creative themes, Srishti Agarwal and Vishal’s palatial Udaipur wedding saw an unparalleled blend of elegance and grandeur, expertly brought to life by WeddingSutra Favorite – VV Weddings.
The couple envisioned their wedding to be informal and wanted every guest to have a blast. Moreover, while the festivities were to be hosted at The Oberoi Udaivilas in Rajasthan, they wanted to highlight the stunning façade instead of covering it up with overwhelming décor elements, which was beautifully translated into reality by their team. VV Weddings created themes that flawlessly blended with the hotel’s aesthetics to create a memorable experience while ensuring that every function was unique and modern.
An eclectic sundowner kicked off the wedding celebrations where the guests were treated to a neon extravaganza capturing the thrill of Havana Nights! Electrifying colors lit up the lush greenery that exuded a magical, psychedelic atmosphere, while pineapples, flamingoes and other exotic elements added to the tropical vibe. The function was followed up by an exciting Super Heroes vs. Super Villains themed after-party that kept the merriment going.
The next day began with a sun-kissed brunch brimming with fun games and activities like grape-stomping, wine-tasting and perfume-making, all of which channeled the intrinsic charm of Italy. Gorgeous décor in hues of white and yellow with varied flowers, lemons and other citrus fruits recreated the sensory experience of strolling through the iconic gardens of Tuscany.
The evening soon gave way to a starry night as the couple and their guests danced their heart out under the velvet sky. Classy blacks, elegant golds and plenty of twinkly lights was the flavor of the evening.
The lush gardens were decked up with myriad shades of pink for the following day’s Haldi function, clearly a refreshing change from the usual hues of yellow. The stage was set with vibrant prints and white flowers in traditional brass vases in front of a halo of fuchsia flowers, all of which laid against the backdrop of a colossal brass tub where the bride and groom were seated. The rituals were followed by spirited Holi revelries.
The festivities came to a grand conclusion with the royal wedding exquisitely designed to recreate the grandeur of a Shahi Bagh, which translates to royal garden. Hundreds of flickering candles bathed the hotel’s magnificent façade in a magical glow, while floral installations, chandeliers, ornamental umbrellas and more, added to the opulence of the event. The lushness of the grounds was elevated by serene ponds, further adding to the splendor. The highlight of the evening however was the towering mandap topped by a halo of exotic hydrangeas that were simply breathtaking to behold.
