Known in-game as OnFireXVeronica and OnFireXHades, the duo met by chance. What started as match-ups and playful banter in BGMI lobby chats soon blossomed into late-night matches, meaningful conversations, and a love story that was built one game at a time.
When BGMI stumbled upon their unique story, the gaming company didn’t just celebrate it. Donning the hat of a wedding planner, they leveled up their love story by creating the first-ever in-game destination wedding at the location where it all started—Pochinki.
Mehendi, Sangeet & Celeb Guests
Set in the iconic battleground of Pochinki, the virtual shaadi was no less than a full-blown desi extravaganza. From virtual décor to traditional ceremonies, every detail was beautifully curated. The mehendi, sangeet, and pheras all took place in a specially designed virtual venue within BGMI, turning the iconic battleground into a dreamy shaadi destination.
A custom-designed invite stole hearts across social media, while creators and celebs like Tanmay Bhat, Purav Jha, SU8L Gamers, and Meethika Dwivedi RSVP’d in style. Even the likes of Neeraj Chopra and Karan Johar couldn’t help but express their FOMO! Adding sparkle to the celebration, fashion designer Ritu Beri styled the couple’s in-game wedding look, while the sangeet was lit up with a performance by Benny Dayal.
