The union of Ratika Mirchandani and Pranay Bhatia was a celebration that beautifully blended elegance, energy, and emotion. Hosted in February, the Dubai-based couple’s festivities were brought to life by WeddingSutra Favorite – Krayonz Entertainment, who worked closely with the families to design an experience that was as personal as it was spectacular. From concept to execution, every element was thoughtfully curated to reflect the couple’s distinctive style, resulting in a wedding that was both intimate and unforgettable.
Welcome Mehndi Brunch
Achint Nag from Krayonz Entertainment shares, “For the Welcome Mehndi Brunch, we wanted to set a vibrant, welcoming tone for the celebrations. Ratika and Pranay envisioned something quirky yet immersive. And ‘Kitsch Mandi’ was the perfect theme to reflect that spirit. From curating a dynamic mix of experiences—like bangle stalls and foot spas—to bringing in high-energy acts, every detail was thoughtfully designed to engage guests across all ages. The idea was to blend tradition with a playful twist, and watching it all come alive was incredibly fulfilling.”
Sangeet
Achint Nag from Krayonz Entertainment shares, “With the theme ‘Written in the Stars’, we wanted the Sangeet to feel otherworldly, glamorous and emotionally resonant. The idea was to craft a show that wasn’t just about entertainment, but also storytelling. From the choreography and musical curation to the lighting and stage design, every element was layered to evoke awe.
Wedding
The wedding commenced with the vibrant Safa Bandai and Baraat, setting the tone for a day steeped in tradition and joy. What followed was a wedding ceremony that felt like a scene from a regal fairytale. The décor seamlessly merged the soulful essence of Benaras with the romantic elegance of Bridgerton, creating a setting that was both sacred and cinematic. Achint reflects, “For the wedding, we wanted to create a moment that felt intimate yet majestic. The concept of ‘Benaras to Bridgerton’ captured that contrast beautifully. From the soulful sounds to the ornate detailing, every element was curated to reflect Ratika and Pranay’s journey.”
Cocktail Dinner
The celebrations transitioned seamlessly into a glamorous Cocktail Dinner, themed ‘Curious Contrasts’—an ode to unexpected pairings and eclectic elegance. Achint shares, “With ‘Curious Contrasts,’ we wanted to break away from conventional cocktail setups and create something that surprised and delighted at every turn. It was about embracing duality, i.e., glamour with grit, elegance with edge. From the entertainment line-up to the visual aesthetics, the night was designed to reflect the couple’s bold personality and the dynamic vibe of their guestlist.”
Brunch
The next day began on a breezy, joyful note with the ‘Toast To The Host Brunch’, themed ‘La Dolce Fiesta’. Infused with Mediterranean charm and vibrant flair, the celebration brought together effortless style and sun-kissed revelry. Achint shares, “La Dolce Fiesta was all about relaxed elegance. An ode to sunshine, music, and sweet moments. We envisioned a celebration that allowed guests to unwind while being completely immersed in the vibe. From live entertainment to experiential pampering touches, the idea was to create a brunch that felt both indulgent and joyfully interactive.”
Reception
The wedding celebrations culminated in a dazzling finale with the Reception, aptly themed ‘Modern Mehfil’. A contemporary take on timeless revelry, the evening exuded elegance and high-octane glamour. Achint reflects, “For the finale, we wanted to create a night that felt like a crescendo—grand, immersive, and emotionally resonant. ‘Modern Mehfil’ was about merging old-world charm with a modern pulse. With Bollywood composer Pritam’s magical set, electric DJ sets, and spectacular visual storytelling, the reception became more than just an event—it became a memory guests would carry with them long after the music faded.”
