Heena Paryani and Bhisham Ramchandani had a gala time as they celebrated their love and commitment with a series of lively celebrations hosted on the shores of Vietnam at Danang Marriott Resort & Spa. The pristine sea waves and the lush, majestic mountains gave every event a stunning backdrop as Bhisham and Heena tied the knot.
Wedding Venue
Nature lovers at heart, Heena and Bhisham wanted to host a lively wedding celebration surrounded by the bounties of nature. And, Vietnam with its untouched beauty, impeccable hospitality and accessibility came through as the top choice. Perfectly blending Vietnamese charm with modern luxury, Danang Marriott Resort & Spa had the couple smitten from the very beginning. The Indochina-inspired resort’s 200 spacious hotel rooms and suites, along with 39 private pool villas with views of lush gardens and the glistening sea ensured the wedding guests were indulged to the hilt at this destination wedding.
Wedding Planning
Orchestrating the couple’s destination wedding was Vietnam-based wedding planner Dated Luxury Weddings and Events who ensured a smooth flow of events as 250 guests flew in from international destinations, like, the USA, Philippines, India and Hong Kong. Wedding photographer Less is More India captured the duo at their stylish best as they savored every moment of the celebration.
Wedding Functions
Welcome Party
Spanning two days in the pleasant month of February, the couple commenced the celebrations with a welcome party inspired by the elements of Vietnam. Whimsical lanterns, bundles of incense sticks and suspended oriental parasols gave the indoor celebration hosted at Goji Kitchen + Bar a dash of vibrance.
Mehndi
Hosted by the property’s vast pool, the mehndi party was an absolute stunner with its pink, purple and lavender hues. Hosted at the Poolside Garden which gave one a sweeping view of the Non-Nuoc Beach and the plethora of palm trees, the mehndi gave guests a picturesque view of the landscape. The couple made a dashing entry to the burst of colorbombs and later enjoyed basking in the sunshine as their loved ones shook a leg to their favorite beats.
Sangeet
The Grand Ballroom played host to the sparkling sangeet evening that followed the mehndi. Colorful lights, a vast stage and the couple’s monogram adorned the venue. Energetic and enthusiastic – the couple took the stage by storm with their dance performances.
Wedding
With Non-Nuoc Beach by the wedding venue, it came as no surprise that the couple chose to host their phera ceremony by the beach. Bhisham’s baraat was a lively one as his loved ones danced their way to the beach on a path surrounded by lush greenery. Dressed in purple outfits, the groom’s side cut a striking contrast with the backdrop, resulting in some truly vibrant pictures. Bedecked with pink and white blooms and backed with a floral Lord Ganesha, the beachside mandap made jaws drop. As the bride walked the aisle, the guests got a clear view of the mandap and the foamy sea waves while being seated on ivory-hued chairs.
