Set against a backdrop of grandeur and unfiltered joy, Mehr Malhotra and Aman Talwar’s wedding was a seamless celebration of love planned by WeddingSutra Favorite – Man with A Plan. From conceptualisation to curation, the planners crafted experiences that reflected the couple’s personalities.
For Mehr and Aman, the vision was clear; they wanted their wedding to feel warm, immersive, and full of energy. The team at Man with A Plan brought this to life with meticulous attention to detail and an intuitive sense of storytelling. “One of the most important things for us was to ensure guests were not just attending events, but truly enjoying every moment,” shares Jaideep Singh of Man with A Plan. “We focused on hospitality and interaction, from live counters and themed bars to curated food experiences; every detail was designed to create conversations and connection.”
Adding to the magic, the bride’s aunt, actress and former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen, lit up the celebrations with her infectious energy and a dance performance. As a personal touch, the bride designed her own wedding stationery.
Wedding Functions
Welcome
The festivities began with a floral garden welcome, where pastel blooms, greenery, and floral arches created an atmosphere of warmth and cheer. Guests enjoyed live counters and music they could groove to while indulging themselves.
Sufi Night
An intimate Sufi Night by the pool followed, bathed in the warm glow of candles and fairy lights. The air resonated with soulful melodies as guests relaxed under a starlit sky while savoring the moment.
Mehndi
The Mehndi was a vibrant, vintage-inspired celebration brought alive through colourful florals, retro props, and interactive décor that encouraged guests to mingle, play, and celebrate. Lively music, handcrafted cocktails, and mehndi artists added to the energy.
Haldi
For the Haldi, the mood turned earthy and organic with terracotta accents, marigolds, and handcrafted details that synced together to create a serene yet spirited setting brimming with emotion and playful banter.
Sangeet
The Sangeet took on a dynamic, tech-forward vibe with LED panels, SFX lighting, and choreographed performances that made the night pulse with energy. The highlight was a captivating performance by Sushmita Sen, the bride’s maternal aunt, whose effortless charisma brought the evening alive.
Wedding
Finally, the wedding unfolded in regal splendour. Under a transparent canopy glimmering with chandeliers and surrounded by lush red roses, the couple took their pheras amidst gold pillars framing a majestic mandap. It was a fitting finale to a celebration that beautifully balanced tradition, innovation, and heartfelt emotion.
