Komal Agarwal and Kartik Shetty’s wedding celebrations hosted by the Goan shore expressed the duo’s love for their roots while showcasing their love of contemporary aesthetics. Planning and designing events was WeddingSutra Favorite – The Serendipity Co. who ensured every event at this three-day celebration was a showstopper.

The three-day affair hosted during the chilly month of February unfolded with equal parts of glamour and fun. With every detail meticulously curated by The Serendipity Co., Komal and Kartik’s nuptials were a testament to the beauty of meaningful celebrations—where love, heritage, and luxury harmoniously converged. WeddingSutra Favorite – VLW Global lead at the production front by showcasing the smallest of details in an artistic and contemporary manner. WeddingSutra Favorite – DJ Tarun kept the energy levels high with his addictive beats that had everyone shaking a leg on the dance floor.

Welcome
Rhea Dewan from The Serendipity Co. shares, “Guests were transported into a world of old-world charm with a library bar, antique accents, and immersive décor that evoked a bygone era. The evening reached its crescendo with an intimate performance by renowned Bollywood singer Papon, whose soulful melodies set the perfect tone for the celebrations. As the night unfolded, DJ Tarun took over, ensuring an afterparty filled with unbridled joy. A thoughtful touch was the DIY scrapbook corner, where guests captured their memories through Polaroid snapshots and heartfelt messages for the couple.
Murtha
Honoring their roots, the couple hosted the ‘Mutha’ ceremony the next morning, a ritual practised by the Bunt community in Karnataka. Here the bride’s family invites their relatives and the groom’s parents. The ritual commences with the bride offering prayers to the Tulsi plant, which is believed to be a symbol of the goddess Lakshmi. Rhea Dewan adds, “Following this auspicious beginning, guests enjoyed a thoughtfully curated South-meets-West brunch. One of the most exquisite elements of the morning was the perfume bar, where guests delighted in crafting personalized fragrances, adding an element of bespoke luxury to the experience.”
Wedding
“As the sun dipped over the Arabian Sea, the couple exchanged vows in an ethereal beachfront wedding. Banana leaves, brass elements, and delicate floral arrangements adorned the setting, creating a visual spectacle of understated grandeur. The symphony of a live santoor, tabla, and flute ensemble by maestro Mangesh Jagtap added an unparalleled depth to this deeply emotional moment”, shares Rhea Dewan.
Sangeet
The celebration culminated in a grand sangeet—an electrifying evening of family performances and uninhibited dancing. Loved ones came together in a jubilant display of music, movement, and merriment, marking the perfect conclusion to this unforgettable wedding.
