Shiny, yellow gold may be unfashionable in some circles, but the majority of Indian brides continue to go for gold. Well-known South Indian actress Rambha who got married at Tirumala in Tirupathi wore a white and gold saree and lots of gold jewellery. For the reception in Chennai she picked a gold saree accessorised with heavy, chunky gold jewellery. While we liked the traditional look, softer and more subtle makeup would have made her look much better. Rambha married Indiran, a Canada based businessman. Reception outfit was another over-the-top affair but gotta say the bride glowed with happiness.
