Mumbai’s fashionistas and party-hearty are looking forward to ace Restaurateur Riyaaz Amlani’s (of Mocha fame) post wedding celebration on December 26th. Riyaaz is marrying Pakistani singer Kiran Chaudhry, the Nikaah is in Lahore after which the newly-weds host a celebration in Mumbai. Kiran worked in London for several years before returning to Pakistan, she sings both in English and Urdu with her band Caramel.
While Riyaaz and Kiran’s match is one of Good Food and Good Music, we have news on a Good Food meets Good Food match. The Kapur family who run iconic F&B ventures like Copper Chimney, Blue Foods and Blue Sea host a big, fat Punjabi wedding in January. Sunil Kapur’s son Varun weds Aditi Talreja who runs www.deliverychef.in, an online gourmet store.
“Tell us about the variety and more variety of food that was served” is the first question we’ll ask our friends who are invited to Riyaaz’ and the Varun Kapur’s celebrations.
