Payal Singhal, the fashion label and WeddingSutra.com started their respective journeys around the same time. We were the fresh, young talent in the bridal & fashion space, both targeting the net-savvy audience. When WeddingSutra first approached me for featuring my collection on the site, I was most excited- one, it was a medium I understood, two- WeddingSutra’s approach was in sync with our brand’s ideology. We commenced our association twelve years ago– and every interaction with the team, has been just-so-perfect.
What I like most about WeddingSutra, is that there’s something in it for everyone, whether or not they are getting married. It beautifully showcases news and trends from the world of weddings, and offers in-depth information with photo features for those seeking wedding shopping and planning advice. I visit WeddingSutra regularly for updates on fashion and celebrity weddings. Their other section which particularly interests me is Real Brides, Real Style as a fashion designer who is dealing primarily with a bridal clientele, it’s fascinating to know why Real brides from different cities chose what they chose, or what they kept in mind while making their choices.
It is so heartening that both Payal Singhal, the pret and couture label and WeddingSutra, the wedding portal have grown from strength to strength. My message to the founders- looking forward to more milestones, and celebrating 25 or 50 years!
