Designed and curated by WeddingSutra Favorite – Foreign Wedding Planners, his destination getaway at Rambagh Palace in Jaipur replete with themed revelries and joyous moments is sure to leave you hankering for a celebration of your own!
Neha Mehrotra, Founder of Delhi-based Foreign Wedding Planners, gave us some insight into the curation & designing of the affair. “Aman wanted a celebration that would be very experiential and memorable for his guests. While we initially researched venues in Delhi and Gurgaon for ease of travel, Rambagh Palace, Jaipur just ticked all the right boxes. The exquisite property offered luxurious hospitality, scenic backdrops and a variety of outdoor venues, all of which completely fit the bill for what Aman envisioned. All he asked for was a lively, fun destination getaway for him and his loved ones, and gave us free rein to use our creativity, which was incredible”!
The guests arrived to a vibrant welcome lunch held outdoors. The minimal yet pretty decor of flowers and drapes in a pink palette softly lit up the lush green expanse of the beautifully manicured Palace Lawns that were replete with sculptural fountains. Floral motifs inspired by Palatial carvings and traditional carpets tied into the decor. Accompanied by a light casual lunch, champagne and beer, the guests had a gala time playing phoolon ki holi with an abundance of marigold petals.
The evening followed with a formal dinner hosted outdoors that was the perfect blend of black-tie elegance and vibrant energy. Twinkling lights and tons of green foliage seamlessly tied into the natural greenery while setting a magical atmosphere, elevated with glam red and gold table settings, candles and glimmering chandeliers overhead. Sculptural green frames surrounded each dinner table, while a canopy of leaves and lounge lights hung overhead. Brimming with funny signages, the bar was a fun highlight of the evening, keeping everyone’s glasses full with custom cocktails. A live band, heartfelt speeches, toasts, cake-cutting, cold pyro displays and dancing filled the air with laughter and love.
The final day saw a fun-filled Polo brunch to top off the celebrations. The function included a live polo match complete with spectator tents for the guests. The lively yellow and white decor included themed elements such as polo balls, mallets, trophies, horseshoes and more. A backdrop of polo jockey silhouettes flanking a trophy case made for a fun photo corner.
Looking back upon the experience of his destination getaway, Aman shares, “I am so grateful to Neha and her team for curating such a superb celebration. The whole thing was a massive success and my guests couldn’t stop raving about the arrangements! Needless to say, I would be going back to the team of Foreign Wedding Planners for every future celebration and would highly recommend them to everyone”.
